Mainstays Small 4in Diameter Round Terracotta Petra Terra Planter

The only thing missing is a plastic clear pot that the terra-cotta pot should go in. They were sold for a while at Walmart for a wonderful price and then they stopped carrying them. I love terra-cotta because it keeps my plants from getting root rot mostly and it made it a lot easier to water them because the terra-cotta would soak up the water from the clear plastic outside pot now if you try to buy them online, they are extremely expensive to the point of being ridiculous, but not from Walmart it’s from other sources. I still like the terra-cotta pots.

These pots are heavy and can handle a large plant. Nice deep reservoir at the bottom. They will fit a 7” or an 8” clear pot. I like a little room between the grow pot and the cover pot for oxygen exchange. And the prices at Walmart can not be beat! I want to spend money on plants, not pots.

I'm basing this rating on UN-broken Petra pots I've bought in the store. They're quite nice and a great price. The broken pots I received were destroyed in shipping, so I don't think it's fair to judge the product based on the poor shipping experience.

Beautiful plant pot permanently marred by label affixed by manufacturer that left sticky mess and discoloration of the pot. There was NO REASON to glue a label to outside. Could have been placed inside or on bottom. ONLY purpose of label was to try and sell matching saucer. Really thoughtless.

Good little pot but its easy to turn over and spill the contents because of shape. Would not buy again.

This is a ceramic pot with a terracotta-colored matte glaze. It is NOT POROUS! The water drip in my pics was applied 3 minutes prior to the 1st photo and I took the 2nd about 3 minutes after that. I planned to put a crassula petite bicolor (often mislabeled as sedum little Missy) in it. Succulents need terracotta clay pots because the porosity allows water to evaporate over the whole surface area so the soil dries out quickly.

I love the look of these terracotta pots, but the stickers they use on the outside is the pot are impossible to remove %26 ended up ruining the pot. i have many of these planters in different sizes and the same issue. The glue will not come off %26 then changes the color of the terracotta and leaves a huge ugly circle of sticker glue. I've tried every trick I've used for these stupid stickers on items, but the terracotta is what gets ruined from the sticker glue.
