I ordered 40 lights and upon delivery I discovered 3 were not operational. I attempted to notify Walmart of the three lights but kept being redirected to return the entire order. I ended up troubleshooting the three lights and was able to fix the malfunction.
honestly a lot of lights for outside in the summertime tend to break easily after even a quick pass for the weed wacker lawn mowers so the price is right and I love the atmosphere at night time in the summer how it looks in my yard absolutely love it like I said they're cheap enough I buy some every year but I still have many that are working from several years ago
I like these solar charged pathway LED based units. I have some that are at least 3 Yr/old. Biggest issue that I have is when lawn mowers trim and break the tube or lens. I can protect the tube with some PVC 3/4" pipe 4" long and placing the LED tube into PVC. This does help with the tube. I told my HOA to stop mowers for my property and now I mow with trim myself. No more lens damage unless I get careless. :)
When pulling the plastic tabs that keep the batteries from contacting for storage and shipping, two of them broke. I had to disassemble them and pull the piece of plastic out so battery contact can be made. 2 minutes each to disassemble and put back together.
I got these at a half price clearance sale,so the price was right. It seems it takes about 4 hours of direct sunlight to charge them, and they last about 4 hours after dark, the rechargeable batteries last just a few months. 1 lumen is not going to light much,I use them in my outdoor plants just for decoration mostly.
My apartment has a nice patio, but even on sunny days I only get direct sunlight for about 60 minutes to charge the lights, not enough. But they were really inexpensive, actually a half off clearance sale,so I won't complain, sometimes you get what you pay for.
i ordered 20 and apparently they are just in a box and grabbed by handfuls because one of mine is missing the actual light part. . yes i looked its not hiding in the bottom.
I ordered 8 because the 1s I got last year are dim but still working. However...this years offering seems really bad...1 immediately didnt work, hrs later 2 more stopped working...now theres only 1 of 8 working %26 its not so great<-dim %26 turns off every few minutes. Sure, less than 1$ ea, but still a total waste of $$$!!! Not worth returning since I hafta go to store to return...ugh, I ordered delivery because I dont drive
I order the lights online and while they work well and I like the lights, I didn't get the full product. I should have received 6 top housings, 6 posts and 6 ground stake but I'm missing 3 posts (so I have 3 functioning lights verses 6). I called the number on the instructions and told the representative I'm missing some pieces and she didn't seem to understand what part I needed. I offered to give her the VSN number or Item number from the paperwork. She took one of the Item numbers (there are 2 numbers on the instructions) and today I get the package she sent but the posts are the wrong size and color. I called the same office again today and was on hold for 20 mins and the office closed so I haven't spoke to anyone about getting a wrong order now for the 2nd time.
Great price but I would have expected a fee more days service out of these. After a week only 2 of 6 still worked. Some would light up after flicking them but would not turn on automatically. Some were just dead and could not be coaxed to life. Surprised these passed testing at all. I am a current Walmart Associate.
