These are nice outdoor solar lights. They are super easy to assemble and the pointy stake is easy to push into the ground. I used them by my mailbox and driveway and they light up nicely. An added benefit i leaened during our recent hurricane is that these solar lights are great to use indoors during a power outage. Simply place them outside during the day and they can provide indoor lights at night. Better than candles and requires no batteries. They look pretty and seem sturdy enough to last a while.
Hello Everyone, This is actually my second set of these Mainstays Solar Powered Black Tapered Six Count LED Path Light sets I've gotten. I enjoyed the first set so much, that I just had to get more of them. The first ones are over two years old and are still working very well night after night. This set includes. * Six lights with stacks. * Up to eight hours of light. * NI-MH Battery Included. * 3000K Warm White Light. * Suggested spacing of three to four feet apart. So If your in the market for a set of sidewalk Light than look no further. I recommend these lights to family and friends.
i usually purchase path lights in multiple packs, as they dont last 4ever. i was replenishing my stock. i buy what is cheapest %26 these fit the bill
Arrived earlier than expected. No damge to outside of the box or items inside but it was missing one piece: just the solar light part. It arrived with six light posts (and stakes), six covers for the lights, but only five lights. So my kids are playing with the sixth one. Other than the missing piece, they work great. See picture.
I bought these solar lights before I've used them both in the winter and in the summer they're a good sturdy light. Thought by now they would have marked them down by the end of the season.
I purchased 2 boxes of these lights. None of them hold a charge. Even after 8 hours in direct sun, not one stays lit for more than 30 minutes if they come on at all. If it were one box, I could understand an isolated issue with bad batteries, etc. But two random boxes of these do not work. Don't waste your money on these.
Almost every single plastic piece broke during the process of putting them together. Followed the instructions to the T. Even flipped the piece and tried that side. Very disappointed that most of the pieces are now held together with tape. Will buy a different better brand in a few weeks to replace these.
I was really looking forward to getting this 6 pack of lights and using them to light up the entry way to my driveway. However, that didn’t happen. I live in Florida where the sun shines bright, even in the shade. Upon receiving the lights I put them out in full sun for a day to charge up and see what they could do. I was severely disappointed. After a full sunny day of charging, only 2 of the lights actually worked to what I would call acceptable illumination. They started out bright like I expected. However, soon thereafter, about 3 hours after sundown, they started to noticeably dim. They kept on dimming for about another 3 hours then were off for the remainder of the night. That gave them only about 6 hours of run time, half of which I would consider unacceptable brightness. Then next 2 lights started out dim for after about 3 hours right after sundown then off the for rest of the night. The last 2 light never even started. They were dead out of the box. I continued watching them for about 2 weeks, letting them go through their charge and discharge cycles. However, nothing changed. I got the same results. These lights are really lacking. It is either a problem with the batteries being used or the charging circuit. I don’t know which but, I do know I didn’t get them to tinker and re-engineer them to make them work. I expected them to work out of the box as new and functional items but, that was not the case. Of the 2 that worked the best for the first 3 hours, after that time I think a few lightning bugs in a jar would have been brighter than these lights, especially the other 4 that didn’t light at all 3 hours after dark. I would not recommend purchasing them. They did not t provide what I expected of them. You would be better off getting some hard wired low voltage lights that have constant and more reliable illumination for your lighting or decorating needs.
the lights dont even all come on at dark after having them a month. about 5 have stopped coming on at all and the ones that do come on only last about 2 yo 3 hours.
My lights come on about 5:00pm but once it gets darker out, they go off. I do not even get 2 hours of lighting. They are in the sun all day so I am not sure why they do not last longer
