Mainstays Toilet Brush and Holder

Nohing could be more utilitarian than a toilet bowl brush. You need it, and in a small bathroom, it has to be out in the open. Hard to believe you can find one that's actually nice to look at, practical, useful, and able to place on public display without being embarrassed. This is the one! It's not perfect. The brush isn't as sturdy as the heavy-duty name-brand brushes, but it works fine. The handle sometimes needs a little attention to go in just right. Aside from these very small inconveniences, it's a good item.

Very good quality and price. Bought 6 for me and my elderly parents. After using, place brush on toilet rim w brush over bowl. Lower toilet seat to hold in place. Dry for a few hours, then put back in holder. No gross liquid in holder or mold on brush. It will last for years!

This toilet brush holder is made of a thick plastic so when I go to pick it up or move it to a different area it did not collapse.  The extra plate on the handle that is glued on to make it look closed so you can not see the brush itself is a nice touch.  Especially after a month of use I definitely do not want to be looking at the brush directly. As for the brush, the handle did not feel great in my hand.  If the metal loop was pressed together a bit more I think it would feel better.  I liked that the brush head had lots of threads to keep it secured on the handle.  I didn't worry if it would fall off the handle as I was scrubbing.  The brush head had plenty of bristles and before using it the first time I tugged on them and none came out so they were very secure.  The bristles were firm yet flexible and seemed to clean the bowl very well.

Exactly what I needed. Nothing fancy and not the sturdiest but for the money it cleans the toilette. It looks nice as well

This item is small and sleek, adding a elegant element to my bathroom. Who knew a toilet brush and holder could do that 🤗

I ordered online for delivery, and I paid $6.97 plus tax for this item, and at first, I was all ready to complain, but then I took a better look at the item and realized that - just as I ALWAYS emphasize - 'Mainstays does NOT disappoint!' The handle is a good thick quality of metal, and the bristles are firm, and are thick and full. The container is a thick sturdy plastic, and I can tell that it will be easy to wash and keep clean. Overall, I am satisfied with the price I paid for it.

This toilet cleaning brush has long bristles and I think the loop handle is easy to hold. It did an average job at cleaning the toilet. No issue, but I do wish it could get into that narrow area at the bottom of the bowl. The brush did not get that area clean.

This is a great looking toilet brush and ideal for toilets with a short bowl. In comparison to other toilet brushes I found this one to be about half an inch to one inch shorter on the brush end of the item. This deficit in brush length makes one push the brush further into a deep toilet bowl and the round decorative addition to the toilet brush stick obstructs the ability to reach the bottom of a toilet bowl. The toilet brush is more decorative than useful, the handle is thin and cannot be gripped as firmly as a plastic rubbed handle can. In short it’s pretty to look at but not as effective a cleaner as any other toilet brush.

The brushes are falling out of the handle. I noticed them falling out in the toilet while cleaning. I hope this does not create a problem with my sewage system. Very disappointed!
