Very cute piece, especially for the price. It’s very tall and stores a good amount of stuff with the shelves and cabinets. Very easy to put together. Did it alone in about an hour, everything lined up nicely. Once you start to fill it, it begins to feel sturdier and less wobbly. Just use caution when putting it together on the floor and moving it around. I should’ve used a blanket underneath because the material scratches very easily. Overall, I’d recommend because it’s a nice piece for the price.

I couldn’t find bookshelves that fit my space, so I bought two of these in different colors and mirrored them side by side. It ended up creating a really nice custom look that feels more high-end than expected. Assembly was straightforward, and the overall quality is solid for the price. I’ll be fully styling them once the rest of my items arrive, but even empty they already look great together.

The Mainstays traditional 5 shelf bookshelf with doors was a great addition to my space. It offers plenty of storage for books, decor, and baskets while helping keep clutter hidden behind the doors. The design looks clean and classic, especially for the price point. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were easy enough to follow. Once put together, it feels sturdy and looks much more expensive than expected. Overall, a great budget-friendly storage piece for an office, bedroom, or living room.

I bought this because the shelves are 11.7" deep. Most books won't stick out past the shelf end, the other book cases I looked at were 9" deep. It seems most books are more than 9" wide. It is 26.4" wide so its fairly small but big enough to handle quite a few books, it won't take up a huge amount of space. It has adjustable shelves and it has doors, also a back board, backing, at the back of the book case. Easy to put together and solid. The one problem I had is the back board comes in two pieces that nail to the back of the bookcase and they overlap one another. The bottom board is supposed to overlap the top board so that you don't see the overlap from the front of the bookcase. I didn't have my orientation correct so I overlapped the bottom board with the top board and you can see the overlap from the front of the bookcase. Other than that putting it together is pretty straight forward. Because of the height they provide anchor straps and screws to connect the top of the bookcase to the wall so that it won't tip over forward. I can't put holes in the wall, an apartment, so I used shims under the front of the bookcase so that it leans backward. It's on carpet and about 2 -3 inches from the wall. The idea is that the weight of the books will be more toward the back of the bookcase and it will have less of a tendency to come forward. It seems to be working really well so far.

So far so good. Took me a little over an hour to finish assembling it. Very easy instructions to read and kind of funny to take the edge off. I assembled it by myself, it probably would have taken less time if I didn’t keep taking breaks. I love the color and how tall it is, I can’t wait to fill it up with decor.

I ordered this for my all-in-one room. I had way too much stuff for the room I could arrange. Looked on IKEA first, but then decided to look on walmart if they had an option. This was next-day delivery and this way less than what the IKEA one costed. I assembled this over the evening. Great Buy!

a couple pieces came damaged, and the top and bottom halves are not 100% secure. the top can be pushed back and removed from the bottom. it looks great though! and for $70, i can live those small issues. overall, it's a good product. a lot of storage, doors are secure. easy to build, and the finished product looks great.

I ordered 4 of these and 2 arrived damaged upon opening. The package was fine so I felt no need to rush and assemble. I assembled 2 when I first received them and I am now assembling the other 2. I have opened both and found damaged pieces, and it’s too late for them to address the issue. Make sure you check the product because a package in good condition does not mean you’re safe. They take a while to put together but look good after assembly. That’s why I only did 2 instead of all 4.

it doesn't deserve a star it was trash .couldnt even put together it was horrible material and took months to get a refund. at first i thought thry were not going to refund at all but i was very persistent. dont buy
