Mainstays Value 10-Piece Cotton Towel Set with Upgraded Softness & Durability, Office Blue

These towels are a lovely soft butter yellow color. They were very soft and after I washed them they fluffed up twice as thick as they looked originally. They dried fairly quickly in the dryer. They are very absorbent. The bath towels are a bit on the small side for an adult and I think these towels would be better used for children because of the size. They are 100% cotton and looked as nice after washing as they did before. The set is four bath towels, two hand towels and four washcloths.

When I received my Mainstay 10 piece bath set and opened the packaging my first thought was these are really thin towels and washcloths. I decided to immediately wash them to see how well they held up. Although thin they washed well. There was some fading of the color (Beige) but that was expected. Otherwise, there was no fraying of the hemmed edges, no pulled pile loops and no loss of shape. The bath set also plumped up and softened up nicely. This 10 piece bath set is 100% cotton and all pieces have hemmed edges and a nice textured border. The set has 4 nicely sized bath towels, 2 hand towels and 4 washcloths. This is a good priced value set for those just getting started in a new home or apartment, for college students living on or off campus and for those who don’t care for thick and heavy bath sets.

These towels are very soft and almost silky feeling. They are thin but absorbent and I love them for using on my hair after a shower. The towels have a nice detail on the hem so that they look nice hanging on towel racks in guest baths. Another plus of their yet absorbent is that they take up less space in the linen closet!

Mainstays advertised these towels saying they had upgraded softness and it is true! These cotton towels are really soft. They do a great job drying too! The bath towels are 24”x44” so they aren’t very big, but still do the job. They are the perfect size for my children. The towels have a nice design on the bottom. They wash really well and don’t leave behind much lint. I love that the matching set includes hand towels, wash clothes, and bath towels. Nice value set!

I was disappointed with the quality of these towels. Not exactly mainstay quality. I did like that they are 100% cotton. And they seem to be of a good size but they are thin and the weave of the cloth will encourage snagging. I washed and dried them, very little shrinkage, no color bleed so that was good. If you’re looking for towels just to have around for utility but definitely not good enough for guest towels.

First off, I do like these towels! But not as a main shower towel. The dish cloths are awesome and big enough without being too big. Many different colors to choose from. They are all extremely thin, and that reflects in the awesome cheap price! Don't expect to get a big fluffy comfy towel for the beach though. I use the big towels in this seat as clean up towels in my shop and bought another set to use for when I'm doing up keep on my fish aquariums, these towels are PERFECT for that! But they are obviously much more thin and cheap feeling than a good much more expensive set of towels. I will leave a picture comparing these to a more standard shower towel. The Mainstays is the lighter blue color towel and you can tell from the pictures these are much smaller and thinner. Still great as long as your expectations are realistic!

the towels are perfect for what i bought them for hanging them in the bathroom on the towel rack nobody is using them ...i would not use the towels they are very thin.. i bought them for looks only.

Love Walmart😁💕 unfortunately this is not on Walmart…..Folks such a disappointment, and I am easy to please, not a complainer. PLEASE, this can not be a main stay product😩 Main stay is way better than this, My husband works on Mopars ( auto) and he said they are exactly like shop towels…. How sad I am, this is a big deal , ladies we love soft fluffy towels , you know a towel you can dry off with😳 wow so I have learned get to the store and feel those towels then your getting what you want .. good luck with your towel adventures

I purchased two sets of these towels set in different colors for my guest bathroom. There is nothing about these towels I like. My guest explained to me that the towels are paper thin, too much shedding and quality of the material has a very cheap feel. I have 3 sets of 3 piece set of mainstay towels I purchased 25 years ago original purchased for two kids. The kids are now 27 and 32 years of age. Those 25 years ago towels are in better condition than the new one week old mainstay towel recently purchased here. The crazy thing is I use the 25 year old towels as bath mats for standing on upon getting out of the shower or tub. My guest prefer using the 25 year old towels to dry off. The striped towel is 25 years old on the side by side and the top self.

I did not read the online reviews before purchasing these towels. I should have. After washing they lost color and did not look like the picture displayed in the ad. They also shed nap that was nearly as thick as the towels themselves (see picture below). Needless to say we did not use them, but will for household cleaning and dusting. My advice? Walmart offers better choices. Skip this "value" and put your money towards the purchase of a better quality towel set--you won't regret it.
