Mainstays Waterproof Mattress Pad, King 76 in x 80 in

i bought this because when my great-granddaughter stays with us she sleeps with me. With a new topper on the bed I didn't want itto get ruined if her diaper leaked. It gives me peace of mind and is very comfortable to sleep on. I even forget it's there!

The mattress pad overall is good. The only negative is that it is supposed to fit a mattress up to 13 inches thick. Our new mattress is 12.5 inches thick. There is no material to tuck in under the mattress. The result is sometimes it slips upward and bunches on the top of the mattress.

last time I bought the name brand version of this but it was out of stock at my local Walmart. we wash it on a gentle cycle and then hang it over the bathroom curtain rod to dry. you have to flip it once because the back will also need to be dried. an absolute must to protect your mattress. the name brand one didn't make any sound brand new. this one did make a little bit of sound but after sleeping at a couple times it didn't any longer. it fit the mattress well

It does have a cloth feel to the one side with a little bit of padding unfortunately the backside is still just plastic. It is better than the alternative if there is an accident at least you don't have to either try to clean the mattress or throw it away.

I like the mattress pad, but it has stunk up the whole room. I noticed when I put it on that it had a bad smell, I put it on anyway. Now the whole room smells like something died or is very rotten. I sure hope this smell goes away, or the mattress pad will have to go away.

While it met some basic requirements initially like soft and fit OK, it started getting holes all over and runs in top material after a few months and 2 gentle cycle washings. Definitely can't use in guest suite any longer due to condition and losing waterproof need. Disappointed.

This mattress pad slides all over the place and is hot. I put it on a bed in the spare room , put the sheet on sat down for a few minutes on top and it was hot. Thought I was crazy, so I then sat on the floor and just put my arms on the bed and you can feel the heat radiating not to include the sheets and everything just moved with me..

This mattress protector is the worst quality I have ever seen. Its thin and ripped while putting it on. There is absolutely NO WAY this single-ply toilet paper thin fabric would handle a single cycle in the washer. I HIGHLY doubt its ability to protect my mattress. This will be returned as soon as the one from Amazon arrives. Lord forbid a billion dollar company have an pride or quality behind their own brand. What an absolute disgrace.

This is not like anything I've purchased before I have four on different beds already and they were the same brand but they've changed. These are a polyester type fabric really lightweight. Just sleeping out one night. There's poles all over it and I see at the bottom of our feet were it's a hole in it already and I've had it on there since Saturday night. It's now Thursday terrible quality don't buy and waste your money that goodness Walmart good people and they refunded me for it. Also, it is not a lot of proof like it says child peed on the bed and went right through my mattress not happy avoid it.

it doesn't stay in place it slides all over the place which defeats the whole purpose of of it being a mattress protector. the part that goes down the side of the mattress is so thin it ripped when i was putting it on the first corner. wouldn't waste your money
