Mainstays Westley Console Table, Warm Walnut Finish

a little lighter than I anticipated, but very easy assembly, maybe 5-7 minutes total. sturdy and heavier duty than expected. would buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this console table! Not only is it absolutely beautiful it is very sturdy and durable. It was super easy to build. It took around 15 minutes total to have it built and ready to go. It's not super heavy so it is very easy to move. I definitely recommend it.

It feels very durable and it is thick and strong enough that I'm not concerned about what I place on this table. It is a nice size that can fit into many spaces without being overbearing.

Lovely color (warm walnut). Love the design. The wood-look is paper coating so it can scuff easily. Mine came with a couple of very small spots already missing in the paper but it was on the bottom. I added felt pads to the bottom of my items on top to prevent more issues. Simple assembly of the 5 pieces - 7 hex bolts (comes with Allen key), 4 small dowels. Allen keys always hurt my hands but fine if I take my time. Very sturdy when assembled. Photo shows piece with warm lighting; cooler tone to the walnut-look when in daylight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This table looks very nice. Has an expensive feel to it without being expensive. It is very sturdy & looks well out together. I did need another adult to help with a few steps (mainly holding pieces in place), but directions were simple & easy to follow. Great piece!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge DIY person! I LOVE getting me some flat packed furniture, following some instructions, handling a tiny allen wrench and VOILA, dining table!! - in this case Console Table. With all that being said, I've never come across a piece of furniture I couldn't fully put together. For at least the past 15 years I've been doing this! HOWEVER, this Mainstays Console Table is IMPOSSIBLE to fully put together. I opened the box and found the simplest of pieces of flat pack furniture- 5 pieces to assemble and only 2 kinds of hardware (screws and dowels) along with an allen wrench. There are only FOUR STEPS to putting the entire thing together!!! And yet.....it is IMPOSSIBLE to complete step 4. Step 4 is where you screw the last 3 screws into the support beam to the top of the console. The huge design flaw here is that in step 3 you "slide/glide/wedge the top of the console table onto the side supports and since you have to kinda jimmy them on there one cannot line up the screw holes for the top puece with the screw holes of the support beam. The hole on the support beam is very deep and no matter how much I tried to bump or jarr the top piece to move it so that hopefully the holes lined up for the screws, the hole is simply too deep to even see if the holes are close to being lined up. So yeah, step 4 is Needlessly IMPOSSIBLE. I'm a bit nervous that there are 3 screws missing to fully connect the top to the base of this console table, however, it does stand just fine and I feel confident putting a few knickknacks on top of it (not too much weight, mind you). This console table would be great in a smaller studio apartment or casita. It's very pretty and I agree that the color is what I would call "warm walnut". I would recommend this to someone, but definitely include my warning. I recieved this item complimentary in exchange for my honest and thorough review.

Every piece of wood has major damage damaged to it

It had the potential to be a very nice piece but received damaged both times. It was heavy but apparently still cheap enough to crack or peel easily.
