Mainstays Westley Swoop Arm 74" Sofa, Moss Green

I am furniture challenged. I’m 65 years old with arthritis and I want a firm straight back chair and couch. The majority of couches at furniture stores are made for larger/taller folks. They’re too soft for one and I need help getting out of them. This couch is the perfect fit for us. Love the color and fabric. I’m going to scotch guard it for some added protection. The seat cushions and back cushions are NOT removable but that to me, makes a sturdy seat. It was so easy to assemble. The bolts that you use to assemble it have a handle on them which is another plus. No tools needed. They all went in smoothly with no cross threading. The legs are plastic but that’s no surprise. For the price of the couch I can replace them with wooden ones The couch is a perfect size for my 5’2” frame. My feet sit flat on the floor. I’m very happy with the couch. I hope my review helps you decide.

I'm genuinely shocked at how well this couch turned out. I wanted to get a couch for my teen daughter %26 her friends to use in our basement and didn't want to spend too much because, ya know, teenagers. I shopped around on FB Marketplace as well as Craigslist and couldn't manage to find a used one nearly as affordable as this. It looks great, was incredibly easy to assemble, and is perfect for the space. I will note, if you like lumbar support, this isn't your couch - unless you're willing to buy additional pillows - but it's perfectly fine for young backs. Highly recommend!

I’m very pleased with the sofa quality for the price. It is very firm, which is what I wanted. It wasn’t difficult to assemble. I recommend two people when attaching the back to the bottom. I ordered the burnt orange. I was expecting burnt orange, but I feel like it tends to be more on the mustard yellow side. In natural daytime lighting it appears more orange. In the lighting at night, it appears mustard yellow. I still love it and highly recommend. It’s perfect for my small space. The rug in the picture is 7 feet wide. FYI the rug is from Walmart, too.

The price is really unbeatable. The assembly was incredibly easy (I put it together by myself) and it looks great. It isn’t super comfy but it’s definitely sturdy and would look great in most spaces. The only issue is the backing fabric doesn’t pull as tight as I’d like it to.

We bought a new build home with old home charm. We wanted a couch for the sitting room that was new, but looked like it could easily have been from years ago. It is perfect. Very firm but comfortable. Great fabric thickness and texture. Would definitely recommend. Feels like a solid piece and was easy to assemble

Those of us with backs that cripple us if we're sitting on a too soft sofa or laying on one, this is the golden Grail of " yes you can" sofa happiness. Firm without sinking, yet very comfortable. The sofa goes together easy, rotate as you tighten bolts until tight because one will loosen the other. Start one side and pull ends towards you to set back side and don't be afraid of tight pulling the fabric on back to smooth it out as you move along back. I love the color green and it goes with the Better Homes and Garden reading chair and the quality is the same. The combo is perfect for me. Couldn't be happier spending millions more.

Great, affordable living room couch! I have a small space, and needed a small inexpensive couch- this was perfect! Can fit 2 people comfortably, 3 can fit but would be sitting very close. It’s comfortable but pretty firm, wouldn’t snooze on it. It needs pillows to comfortably lounge, I got an ottoman to put my feet up because the back sits straight. If you’re looking for a big comfortable couch, this isn’t for you. I got it more for looks, a place to sit, and affordability! The color is so cute, but slightly darker than what was shown. Overall works for my needs!

it took almost a week to put together because I had a hard time getting the backing on. I had to get two of my friends to help me

For the economic price looks very nice. The size is just right . I can take a nap on it. Is not soft or hard. I really like the moss green color. I like the shape of the arms.

Cute couch but the hardware to put the back on was wrong. The pieces will not go together. Really poorly made (we have put plenty of things together so this was not user error)
