These spoons are really big and that along with them ring wooden makes them good for candle and lip balm making
I gave it 5 stars because it is what it says and it's sturdy. A basic, solid wood spoon for , in my case, stirring on egg Teflon cookware. No finish, no frills. But a good price!
I now own 3 of these spoons. I also have purchased them for friends and family. The size is perfection. I didn't know I wanted a handle this length, with a little extra thickness. I didn't know I wanted a wooden spoon with an extra wide head, but now that I have it, I will never let it go. Don't let the price fool you. Buy this spoon. Your kitchen will thank you. It really is perfection.
very manual, I like to cook a lot with it!
I cook all the time. Needed the spoons. They are great. Did not like the way they were mailed, in a Walmart bag. They could have come in an envelope.
I only bought this to get qualified for free shipping. But it's a nice spoon. I mean what do you expect it's just a basic wooden spoon. Great price tho.
I grew up with these and my mom still has the ones she had when I was growing up. I decided to get some because the bamboo ones I've been using are so expensive and terrible quality, often having splinters, as well as formaldehyde. I'm not sure these don't contain formaldehyde, but I am sure they contain splinters. I can't even use them, I'm going to need to get sandpaper and sand them down or something. I have no clue what is happening with the quality of products and what corners businesses are deciding to cut these days, but I can say I don't appreciate it. I can't even stand to use these because I am picking out splinters every time I do and I'll now have to finish a job that I paid to be done for me. If I wanted to finish a product before using, I'd rather just purchase the machinery to make everything myself from a piece of wood. These are cheap so I can't complain about the price, but the quality is just not what it used to be.
Bought two of these spoons. Immediately oiled due to the dry and rough texture. One spoon split at the bowl of the spoon the first time it was used. Disappointed by quality. The other has not split yet (have had it two weeks) but no amount of oil seems to condition it.
I got 2 wooden spoons, since the fewest I could order was 2. In the box were two different spoons, one as pictured and one that is entirely different. The spoon pictured is terrible. It's not comfortable to hold, riddled with splinters, and doesn't seem like much of a spoon for the purpose of having a spoon for making sauces or anything really because of how thin the handle is. The other spoon is from The Pioneer Woman and seems to be a much nicer spoon. It's a little bit shorter, but it has a way better handle that actually is comfortable to use and I don't feel like my hand will be covered in wood shards the moment I touch it.
Love the size of the spoon, earlier in the year I paid $1.97 for it, now it's $5.15. I know wood has gone up in price but this is crazy. Too expensive now
