bought this as a gift package looks like pictured
my son loved it
I love these cars, I've bought many of them and plan to buy more. They're good prices and excellent quality.
Bought for my grandson. Great value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son assembled the Maisto 1:24 AL Lamborghini Terzo Millenio. He's really good with assembly so we let him assemble it himself. It was fairly easy to do and he loves it. He's a car fanatic. Didn't have any difficulty with any parts of the assembly. When he was done, he took his photos. Now he wants a real one...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4th grader was home from school recently with a minor illness. This model was a great way to keep him away from the TV for a few hours. He did all of the construction himself, with a little help from me interpreting the instructions. The details about piece alignment & construction steps are a little small on the included instruction sheet, but they are clear and understandable if you take a minute to align the parts correctly. Since this model has a die-cast exterior shell, the finished product looks very nice - much better than the plastic models that I grew up with in the 90's. One comment from my son was that several of the plastic "snap-in" pieces still had plastic connections from the "tree" that had not been shaved down. This was an easy fix with a pair of scissors or pocketknife, but I had to explain to him how to trim these up. Overall he had a blast with this and now has it displayed on his clothes dresser in his room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I were very excited to do this together. He is almost 9 years old. We spent the entire afternoon on this. He would not have been able to do it by himself, it was a little too difficult for him. He did great with my assistance though. Once it was completed, we both agreed that it is very high quality. I was really impressed with the quality and finished look of it. We like how the doors open. He put it on his shelf and it looks nice. My biggest complaint was that the pieces had no label so it sometimes took us awhile to find the piece we needed. We will definitely purchase another one of these for the future!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this model car for my son and he loves it! The finished product looks very life-like and is extremely detailed. The car is well-made and feels sturdy. My son really likes the rims on the wheels but one unfortunately keeps coming off. The one drawback I found, were the instructions. I think because the product is marketed to children 8 and older, the instructions should be improved. I believe this brand could make the instructions more detailed to make it easier for children to assemble. Despite the initial frustration with the instructions, the finished product was well worth the hassle. We are both so pleased with how the car looks and can't wait to try other model cars from this brand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old son originally started to build this, but then needed help from his 13 year old brother. The car itself is awesome! It has great detailing, the doors and wheels fully function, and it's completely mess free to put together. However, the directions were a bit difficult to follow (which is why my younger son needed help from his older brother). It would have been helpful to have words go along with the pictures. It was difficult to tell what parts actually went where. They figured it out with some trial/error and patience, and eventually put it together. The end result was a really great Lamborghini.
Good quality but really terrible instructions. That's the only reason I'm giving it a 3 star. I had to use YouTube
