Mall Madness Electronic Shopping Spree Board Game for Ages 9 and Up

I loved this game as a kid! We bought this as a Christmas gift for our 10 year old daughter. She loves it just as much as I did.

My kids had seen some old Mall Madness commercials on YouTube and thought the game looked funny. They kept bringing it up, so I ended up surprising them with it one weekend. They were pretty excited when they opened it, and luckily it turned out to be a hit. The game is pretty easy to get into once you figure out the setup. The electronic part is definitely what grabbed their attention. They liked hearing where they had to go, checking for sales, and racing around the mall trying to get everything on their shopping list. It was nice that the kids were able to play without needing me to constantly explain the rules. There is a little bit of luck involved, but that actually made it more fun for them because things can change pretty quickly during the game. They got surprisingly competitive with each other. I also liked that it gave us something to do together without a screen. It is not a complicated strategy game, but that is honestly part of the appeal. We could sit down, play a game, laugh at some of the silly parts, and be done in a reasonable amount of time. The setup has a decent number of pieces, so I would not call it a five minute game to get ready. Once everything is out, though, it is pretty straightforward. Overall, it was a fun surprise and I'm glad I picked it up. The kids were curious about it because of those old commercials, and now they actually have their own game to play that isn't on a tablet.

So much fun! My granddaughters and I played and enjoyed every minute of it. Can't wait for the younger two to come and play. It will be a game that goes on vacation with us. Worth the money❣️

My daughters had the original game and boy what a difference this one is. Lots of pieces of cardboard to place. It sure just isn't the quality of the original one. It was still fun to play though.

I bough this for my daughter as a gift and didn't notice until I went to wrap it that a section of the box appears to be cut open. It is now too late to reorder the item. I'm so disappointed.

Was so excited to play this but the console didn't work from the time we opened the box. Tried all new batteries, looked for plastic tabs, etc and could not get it to work. Unfortunately the whole game hinges on the electronic center piece.

This game is in French!!! We had some very disappointed kids!

Item arrived damaged. Box is in English, directions in english but talking game piece only speaks in French.
