It's not top quality Ex Virgin Olive Oil they're fried in, but for ease these can't be beat. Nice flavor. I'd say it's the only fried peppers worth buying in a jar.

I bought these fried peppers in a jar so I could always have peppers on hand when making sauce, sandwiches, or whatever. Fresh peppers are nice but they can spoil quickly and need to be cooked before adding them to a recipe. It has worked out wonderfully. I make my own red sauce of gravy. I added a new step to my recipe. I quick fry these peppers first to get them extra aromatic then add them to the pot where I'll be simmering the sauce. After adding the peppers, I add the fried garlic and fried pork to the pot them add the sauce to simmer for hours. It comes out amazing every time! Sorry commercial tomato spaghetti sauces in a jar but you've lost a customer for life. Homemade sauce, gravy, is so much better! I highly recommend Mancini Ready to Serve sweet fried peppers with onions! 5 stars!

impulse buy - glad i did. cannot get to stores for fresh peppers. these are cooked, soft, mild flavor. i used on a quesadilla with cheese and a bit of salsa, but there are many ways to use, even on a spoon right out of the jar. sausage/peppers for 1 person? cook the sausage, add a few spoons of this and voila!

Really good peppers! The best I have found, and I have looked for great fried peppers forever! Terrific taste with a Italian sausage on a bun....or with sauce, anti-pasta, eggs, soup...etc....Much better price here and better shipping than the "big A"...

Cannot find in local supermarket, so I had to order online. I use the peppers in my calzone recipe.

I'm not giving the Mancini fried peppers a 3 rating I'm giving it to Walmart as a shipper. This is my second order as the first order was damaged. Walmart promptly refunded my money which is great. The problem is how the order is packaged. This second order was not packed very well. One bottle was dented on the lid and started to leak. I think Walmart has to package some of the orders a bit better. I do love the fact that I received this order in three days. I've purchased a few things from Walmart and you can't beat the prices.
