Manhattan USB-A to 3.5 mm Audio Adapter 150859

This was the perfect adapter that I needed to add sound to my computer. Got it fast and easy to install sound using this adapter. Would recommend it any day to friends. All I had to do was plug it into my computer in the front usb drive and I had sound using separate speakers.

My husband broke the plug for his headphones on his laptop. The only way he could get his headphones to work was to hold the plug into the hole. I found this USB connector and thought it might just work as a way to get around the broken headphone jack. It worked just fine. He plugged it into his usb port and then plugged his headphones in and he's a happy camper now.

My earphone jack from my laptop will only play sound on one side of my headphones, unless I hold the male end to one side. I purchased this sound card online, picked it up at my local Wal-mart, and simply plugged it in to my USB port. It works flawlessly. I don't use it 24 hours a day, or anything, but I'm very satisfied with this product.

My plug in for my headset on my laptop was not usuable and it was suggested that I could buy USB headsets that would have cost me from $75.00 to $150.00. Instead I purchased (I have only had item for 48 hours) this adapter for nominal cost, use my own headset and the sound is great. Just have the volume on one and it sounds good and when in use with speaker it is almost like having a stereo. Very good for the price, glad I bought this and not the expensive headsets (which I might add I would not be able to use my speaker, just headset).

Just connect it to your USB port and you have your main audio goin thru it. It has no manual or instructions included. It disables the current audio installed in your system. I am not sure if you can have both sounding at the same time.

This sound adapter was easy to use, just plug it it. The sound quality was good for the cost. Like most USB devices it is a little fragile. I'm using it on a laptop and if you bump it by mistake it is easily bent, but my first one continued to work properly for several months after I bent it. You should expect to replace this every few months if you cannot always put your laptop on a nice firm non moving surface.

I bought this so I could use my Turtle Beaches on my Ps3. It works perfectly for this. Sticks out a bit, so be careful, and takes up one usb slot, not a big deal on my end cause it has 4, but if it's a newer version I think they only have 2, and this would be a problem to charge the controllers and use the head set at the same time. No cons, really good and does what it's supposed to.

great sound quality but product is very delicate. breaks easily.

head phones/speakers have to be plugged in just part way or it doesn't work at all. then if it's bumped it stops working. has to be unplugged & plugged back in just right or have to keep doing it over & over. but at least i have sound till i can finish rebuilding the computer.

I have already returned this product for my money back. When we got the product there was a buzzing in it all the time and then it would work sometimes and then not some other times. Broke down and bought headphones with usb instead of trying another adaptor.
