Love

KaylaEQS June 23, 2016

These are the only treats I buy. The way I see it is, if I can give something somewhat healthy and my horse doesnt know any different, Im going to. Seeing as my mare has some joint issues, I figure these certinly dont hurt. I also routinely feed these to the other horses in th barn, randing from 12 to 36. All of them eat them and none have an issue chuing them. For me, I love them. Plus, you cant beat the price.

excellent

What a relief to get the only treat my horse likes. The size is perfect and they don't crumble when stored.

My horse loves them

Im surprised by the mixed reviews, my senior horse gobbles these up and I like that they are small (less than an inch diameter). Big treats he tries to inhale, these are small and give me peace of mind. They smell good and I like knowing they are marginally healthy :)

Great snack - all my horses love them!

Sarah R February 1, 2018

These easy to eat snacks are a big favorite at our barn!! My pony and all 3 horses are big fans. (Note that one of the questions posted asks about serving size; the answer said '8 oz., or about 48 cookies?? I believe that is supposed to say 8 (EIGHT) cookies, not 48). Anyway, they smell so good I'm tempted to try one!

Rocky loves these!

RockStar September 29, 2016

He gets one in his breakfast every day with his supplements. My barn owner at Celestial Farm reported one day when I'd forgotten it that he nosed through his grain looking for it and when it wasn't there he picked his head up and looked at her as if to say "hey what's going on?" Clearly he enjoys them!

Sounds great, but maybe doesn't taste great?

Kate July 28, 2019

I bought these for my horse, who is ~20 years old. He seems to enjoy eating just about anything, so I figured I'd give these a try. He ate the first one, with some hesitation. The next one he chewed up and spit out. I gave one to a friend's horse (who also loves to eat just about anything), and chewed up the first one and spit it out. The treats are cute and they're a good size, but I guess they're not for everyone.

Nobody would eat them!

Ariatgirl April 9, 2025

I gave these treats to 7 different horses and they all spit them out. Even the dogs, who love horse treats, turned their nose up. To me, they smelled more like anise than apple.

My horses will not eat these

Trub June 13, 2016

I own three horses, none of them are fussy and two out of three will not eat these treats. Tossed in with their meal they will not even eat their meal, as soon as I remove the treat they eat the meal. They are a very hard treat so if your senior has teeth issues this is probably not the right treat.

Horses don't like it

Cathyc May 19, 2020

Tried feeding this to my 30 year old gelding who will eat anything. started chewing then basically spit it out! tried other horses with same reaction. Don't know why- looks good, no weird smell but my guy wouldn't eat even when buried in O & M!

Even my chubby pony would not eat these...

jrostx October 30, 2018

I bought these hoping they would be a nice snack and supplement for our senior pony and senior warm blood. Both horses actually spit them out! And the chubby pony will eat just about anything offered to him. They do no good if the horse won't eat them.
