Love the bike! I took it to my parents to have my dad help assemble it. I'm glad I did because it took us a bit to figure out the tension cord. However, once we did everything else was easy. It's a GREAT bike for under $150 bucks. Oh, and I'm a plus-size woman so even I find it great to use. Now if I can just up my dedication. I'm getting there! Great bike!
I love this bike so far. My 15 year old put it together. It took him about an hour. I took the straps off of the peddles because I didn't see the need for them and for my son to ride, they had to come off. The seat is as comfortable/or not as any upright bike. But it is compact and well worth the money.
This is a good bike that I got at an amazing price! Thank you Walmart! That said, the instructions on how to hook up the tension wire could have been much clearer - to those reading this, reduce the tension all the way on your bike and then pull the wire to make it stretch into the slot. Not being sure if I was doing it right made that part a little scary - I didn't want to break the bike while trying to put it together! The bike runs nice and smooth. I bought a seat cushion for the seat but still find it hurts when I sit on it for awhile. I don't have another bike to compare it to, so maybe they all do that I don't know. I will say that the computer on it isn't anything special. And it really should at least have a little shelf on it where you can put your phone or tablet, which is a feature that all the other bikes I looked at seemed to have. That said, considering that I got it for about half the price of those bikes I am not complaining and I am really pleased with my purchase!
I've been on the hunt for a portable I snagged this for a great price $57 bucks and it has been nothing but the best purchase of my weight loss journey. It requires 2 double A batteries. I would say it was fairy easy to assemble comes with all the screws and a L- wrench and star Screwdriver on the opposite end. No personal tools required.
The bike is great, I cant get comfortable on the seat no matter what though. I even tried to add some padding with no luck. Directions are also difficult and dont say how to attach the tension cable. You have to screw one piece all the way down on the bottom portion of the cable, then attach the top piece, then screw the bottom piece back up.
Im satisfied with my Marcy bike, I purchased this to have another option for my fitness needs. If youre thinking about starting a fitness routine, or need more options, this bike is great for the price. You dont need a $1000-$5000 bike to start on the path to a healthier lifestyle. You need commitment and a way to exercise, and this bike is great for that.
I got this bike for $58.81 tax for my mom and also purchased the $9.92 3Yr warranty in case it ends up prematurely breaking down. For a total cost of $74.71, it was worth it! She just wanted something for leg movement/circulation, nothing intense: no standing, no intense tension. This fits the bill perfectly for her needs and she loves how quiet it is. Getting the tension strap assembled was more involved then how the directions described, but my dad got it together with minimal cussing. If you're looking for a Peloton type bike, this exercise bike is not for you. But if you're looking for a most basic exercise bike, this one is great.
The bike was reduced from $145.99 to $81.13. I paid $81.13 plus $7.71 tax. Total $88.84. Before I receive it was reduced again to $72.88. I should pay $72.88 plus tax.
For the price I would have expected better quality for the computer that comes on the bike. I did not have all the screws nuts and washers that was supposed to come with the bike. I had to go to the hardware store to buy what I needed. The manuel skipped one step on assembling the bike. It didn't tell you how to connect the tension cable. I figured it out. Buying this bike was a dissappointment. It is better to spend more money to get better quality. Lesson learned
Cheap quality, don't waste your time and money on this machine. Product came in like it was used and damaged already. Not very stable. Screws and bolts did not match. Right side of the pedal screw did not match the left side (had trouble screwing on the right pedal in- did not want to screw through the loop)
