The item was easy to assemble and had great functionality! Its compartment is so large that my 12-y/o son was able to climb and lay inside it curled up, comfortably. Great for placing extra pillows and linens for sofa bed. The metal fixtures seem to be of quality and had soft and quiet closing and opening functions. Great use for working and for storage! I would definitely recommend it for these reasons! BUT I was disappointed that it some of the panels came scratched or already had missing paint or were touched up straight out of the box. It did not affect functionality, but esthetically did not look brand new and we were meticulous about unpacking it and not getting it scratched, but it was already scratched up on the edges with missing paint or staining. And some scratches were large enough that they actually used those wood scratch markers to hide them. If it weren't for that this would be a 5-star review.

Good sturdy coffee table, definitely a pain in the butt to set up alone but managed to do it in 2 hours.

Good quality how ever there were a couple of holes that dud not line up. But over all I'm very happy with the table.
