Finally, a grinder I got them accustomed to - so no more drama and I don't need an assistant. I do a tiny bit each night. They both put up with it now with only minor complaints. It's very quiet so they got used to it much more quickly. I'm going to give away the others I've tried. It only took about six weeks to get them 100% ok with this, but after about 3 weeks I was able to doing it while they cried. They don't flinch now. They don't care for it much, but they know a lickable treat is coming when I'm done, so they put up with it. Their nails are so nice now, I barely have to touch them - could easily skip days, but don't want to break routine. I no longer have scratches all over me as my 14 year olds still think I'm their favorite toy. My little girl loves to pet my face!

This nail grinder is amazing! My dog lays still for me and the slight buzzing noise doesn't seem to bother her. Definitely recommend

Well constricted dual speed. Quiet motor though the actual grinding is going to be noisy. My little yorkie has dark claws with long quicks. Even the groomer said he'd need weekly trims if I wanted to push them back. Best to trim around the tips which is hard to do with a clippers. First time I tried to use this on him he fought me, but little by little he came around and I think this is going to be the right tool. I can trim the tips cone like and the sidewalks should file them more easily when we walk. Great price too!

I really like this particular pet nail grinder vs some of the grinders because it has three different nail grinder modes to choose from according to your pets size/weight, it also has two different speeds to choose from and it is quiet. Before I used the grinder I thought it was going to scare away our cats but it doesn't. It's so quiet that it calms our youngest cat who is the wildest of our bunch when he's getting his claws needs taken care of. Now that I'm able to trim our cats claws on a regular basis, My children and I are to able to groom and cuddle more with them without getting badly scratched by their claws. I highly recommend this Masbrill pet nail grinder to take care of your pet's claws needs.

It's a good product but you have to be careful when grinding their nails because they can get sucked in and stuck between grinder and plastic cap.
