Vibrant Life Premium Large Dog Nail Clippers

I am handicapped and my hands are weak. I was able to squeeze and cut my dogs nails . These are well made and delivered to my hands at my house. So many times delivery will be left at he gate. VERY INCONVENIENT as I have to wait for my friend at her convenience to pick it up and bring to me things have been stolen..I am very glad these nail clippers were physically brought to me!!

I chose Vibrant Life dog nail clippers for large dogs, because I’ve purchased a smaller size before. I have two medium size dogs with a few larger circumference nails. The clippers worked well, however, the clippers do not have a length guard like them smaller size has. The clippers have a latch to keep them closed while not in use. In addition the grip has a slight concave curve and aids in maintaining a solid grip, unlike other clippers that have rounded grips. These are now my “go-to”clippers.

These clippers fit in my hand comfortably and allow for a secure grip. The quiet operation and smooth squeeze allows me to sneak in some nail clipping as part of our regular grooming time on both cats. The locking blades are nice for secure storage. They won't totally eliminate the 'please don't touch my paws' bit of grooming, but at least we can get through it without scratching, pulling back, wiggling, or nipping at my hand. We are able to get through the nails part quickly and move on to more enjoyable parts like the pin brush massage and extra rubs behind the ears.

Very sharp dog nail clippers. Like they don’t have the guard on them. While it did take me a bit to cut my dog nails at first with a bit of a struggle at first but after a couple time cutting his nail he was more relaxed. I could find my other clippers but I glad I got these instead. Differently rewarded him with treats for a good job!

I have a great dane. With that being said her nails are thick and long. These had almost no trouble. the only thing i wished that was different about them. Is that they open wider. they are almost not big enough to fit her nail.

My poor corgi desperately needed her nails clipped, as she has been slowing down in her golden years and the normal wear from running on hard surfaces was no longer keeping them in check. I was super intimidated about doing it, but these simple and affordable clippers made it easy. It took a nail or two to get a sense for the pressure I needed to apply to get a quick, clean snip, as corgi nails are not minsicule despite the short legs, and the it was smooth sailing. Very impressive, especially for the cost!

I have had many types of nail clippers for our dogs but these are hands down the easiest to use. They don’t make a super loud sound either. I have a dog that was abused by her previous owner and she doesn’t like loud sounds. These are perfect for her. We have a medium and large size dogs. We use them on both dogs and they work great!

These are pathetic when it comes to cutting dogs nails, they shatter the nail very easily, they are hard to clench to cut. The handles are slick, and it hinders when trying to use these on a pet. I do not think they are equipped as they did not cleanly cut the nail, I was not impressed with these, don't buy these as they do more damage then help.

I purchased these expecting to be able to cut the nails on my german shepherds. they are too flimsy and twisted on every other nail. It is hard enough to cut their nails without the thing twisting and clamping onto them! Completely disappointed!

I tried to use these on my German shepherd and it didnt work, the clippers wouldn't cut through the nails easily at all. When i tried to increase my strength squeezing the clippers, the clippers would start to twist my dog's whole nail, which of course freaked my dog out cuz i'm sure that didn't feel great. So next i tried holding my dog's nail with one hand and the clippers with the other, which only resulted in the clippers again not cutting through the nail, instead they started creaking like they were gonna snap apart. I'm so disappointed, i was really excited for these dog nail clippers due to the reviews that said they were easier and quieter than other clippers out there.......
