M*A*S*H: The Complete Collection (DVD) (Disney)

I like how all of the seasons (1 - 11) are included in one box set. I haven't gotten to the movie yet, since I am only on the second disc of the second season, but thankfully I've seen it multiple times, so no rush. I also love the idea that this show hasn't been edited to appease the masses of new generations that are offended by anything and everything, and believe Klinger was transgender! They have no clue what a section 8 discharge is and that he was pretending to be insane to leave the war. And anyway, Alan Alda basically already had censored the show, so to speak, when he took it over. This is rather pricey, but considering the sheer volume of entertainment you receive for one of the absolute greatest TV shows of all time (not including the movie), it's worth it. On streaming platforms, you're looking to pay $3 PER EPISODE, so essentially you pay about $60 once to watch forever. *Note: the first several seasons do not have the PLAY ALL feature, and in fact, one the menu appears, it's very basic. Choose an episode and press play, but then once it's over, you're required to go back to the main and select the next one. *However, simply press 'repeat' on your player remote, scroll through to 'repeat all', and this acts as your PLAY ALL feature. I cannot say if this works for a gaming system since the controller does not have a 'repeat' button, but perhaps the system itself might?* At any rate, I recommend this item because I recommend the show!

The only drawback to this box set is that it's difficult to get the individual discs out. they're a very tight fit and I think it's just the way they package them now in box sets because my Twilight zone box set is exactly the same. I'm going to be buying a sleeve book to keep them in so I don't have to wrestle them in and out of the case. That being said, excellent value, fantastic show. also as a heads up the final episode of mash goodbye farewell amen is included in this box set. nowhere in the description does it say so, but it is which was incredibly happy surprise for me because I was preparing to order it separately.

I bought the M*A*S*H DVD series because it is like a Time Machine to me. I watched this series in my younger years and now can go back anytime I want. I hope the first MASH and final episode is there or I'll be getting those as well. Regards,

I love the fact that i was able to get a fantastic gem such as this. My father and I used to watch this all the time. My father passed away in 2001, and watching these just reminds me of the time we would spend together. Thank you.

MASH is the best show - so, the series set itself is 5 stars. But we had the entire set that we bought many years ago, but the first 4 seasons do not have a “play all” function on the menu. Season 5 and on does. I was really hoping this “new” collection redone in 2018 would have fixed that annoying detail. Nope. The same exact collection as originally released. Disappointed.

Disk 3 of Season 1 kept on freezing up. NOT RECOMMENDED
