Works well as I have a 3” wide tongue so the 31/2 “ shaft works well. These are hard to find. Fits nice and secure on tongue and made by master lock.

Extra security
I use a receiver ball plug style lock when my trailer is in my driveway. But my 5x8 trailer would be ready to steal right off the back of my truck when I'm parked somewhere at a restaurant or hotel. This handy little lock is just a little extra deterrent to someone who might try that. With this lock, I can lock the trailer on the receiver.

Not Rekeyable
Called customer support and they confirmed that this lock and the 1469DAT are not rekeyable. I recommended to them to make a keyed alike set in the future.

Good quality, functional
Seems like a high quality item and does it's simple job well. The only thing I wish was different is that the lock cylinder stays in whichever position you turn it to. Other locks I have you must turn to unlock and pull the two pieces apart at the same time. This means you can just slide the lock back together to lock it. This lock you have to use the key to lock it

Used only once. It was difficult to insert key and lock. Had to cut it off to un hitch my truck after one use.
