Master Lock 4-Digit Resettable Combination Padlock, Solid Metal Body, Nickel Plated Shackle, School Locker Security

This little padlock works so great I use it when I'm at work putting my purse in a locker. it is easy to use and it locks it up fine.

I bought this to use at the gym for my locker. If you wear glasses and take them off to workout or swim, you might not be able to see well enough to read the numbers of your combination because they are very small. I had to ask a fellow member if they would open my locker for me. Just a little embarrassing.

Purchased to place on electric meter requiring 1/4 inch shackle. Worked OK, only because will not be opening on a regular basis. When open, combo can easily change by mistake. .

I would recommend for a light lock. Would not recommend for protecting valuable items.

I had this lock for two weeks before it jammed and locked me out of my business. It's a shame these don't come with a pair of bolt cutters, because you'll end up needing them!

Thought it was a great value .. BUT its too easy to accidentally %26 unknowingly change the combination.

Accidentally changed the combination at the gym after two usages and was unable to open the lock. I find that here in support there is no way to reset the combination so this lock is now useless. There needs to be a different way to set and maintain the selected combination. It is too easy to accidentally press the top of the lock down which changes the combination. Will probably never purchase another one. After forgetting the combinations on several preset locks I thought this was the answer to my problems, no key, nor having to remember a predetermined combination. It's back to a keyed padlock.

I purchased this two days ago. My wife and I just joined a gym and after 1 use, (we saved our own combination numbers into the lock) Worked one day at the gym. Today My wife and I went to the gym this morning. I went to the locker room and put all my belongings into the locker. Locked the lock and forgot to put my wallet into the locker. Tried opening it, multiple times with the combination that I set, did not work. After more tries was fed up and went to the front desk to grab bolt cutters. After waiting for my wife after out workout found out that she could not open her locker as well. Had to get the bolt cutters and cut the lock off. (how embarrassing), two new gym members had to walk around the gym to the locker room with bolt cutters. Major Fail for Master Lock!!!!!!!!! I will contact customer service about this product, and after seeing multiple reviews I think you may need to re think the functionality of the lock! Do not Buy this product!!

Opened it and removed it from the lock and apparently pushed it down locking it in the open position, tried unlocking it, figured I'd even try resetting the combo as maybe it started the process to change the combo, and nothing. As well it now has flakes of metal falling out of it.

The code setting is tricky so it's very easy to reset without knowing.
