Excellent lock
This is the best type of hitch lock I have been able to find. It fits securely in the ball socket of the trailer hitch. The locking mechanism fits snugly to the outside of the hitch socket. The construction is robust. Unauthorized removal without the key would be very difficult. This Master Lock trailer hitch lock provides me peace of mind. My nice trailer is secure.

Better than other options.
I have 3 of these trailer locks. They fit tightly and do not deteriorate in the weather. They seem more secure than other designs. After years of weather exposure they still look clean and the keys work easily.
