I am going to try and cancel this order. The recipient could not find how to activate it in a timely manner.. I thought any e- card could be used anywhere without creating an account. Very frustrating and disappointing. The live customer service person was not helpful and the live chat was dropped.
I purchased the e-gift card on 12/18. I added the card to my Google pay. I continuedy shopping %26 was looking for a specific gift card. When I found the gift card %26 purchased it, it declined my card. I had accidentally not switched over to my debit card. The merchant tells me the card was declined %26 they didn't take any money at all. Mastercard says they took $25 %26 if was an unauthorized transaction even though I told them it was my mistake %26 the card was declined. Now, MasterCard has put a hold on the card %26 will not release my card until after 12/27. I will never buy another gift card from MasterCard ever again. Customer service was awful, supervisor was worse %26 I just want my money back. They deserve 0 stars.
i couldnt use this terrible card anywhere!! and no help at all from Walmart or the issuing bank, they basically just stole 96 bucks from me. do no buy this, or better yet avoid walmart altogether, online or in store its just one terrible experience after another!
Don't purchase this card whenever they send it to you in your email and you click on view or print your E gift card. There is no E gift card it actually says there is no server and there's no website domain and when you call the one 800 number they give you it tells you to go to balance.mastercardgiftcard.com and when you go there it tells you that there's a problem connecting to the server and there's no such domain so you wasted your money and there's no refunds so they get your 200 or $500 money for your gift card that you never get or it's never returned to you Walmart should definitely have caught that this is a scam.
I will never in my life order another one of these e-cards. It does not come with a scan. You only can do it by typing it in or placing the number in. I tried doing that yesterday and a security risk came up, but guess what now? Walmart can't help me because it's by Sutton bank And Sutton Bank won't answer the phone or give me a call back and I've called them multiple times, but they're continuously busy.
eGift Card is impossible to use, because it can not be registered to a name or address online purchases are declined. You can add it to your google wallet, but instore merchants do not accept. Basically they take your money for a card that can not be utilized.
Problem with delivery, AI can't help and says I can talk to a live agent, then transfers me to Capital One Bank. Impossible to get real help and no refunds on gift cards. I won't buy any more gift cards or purchase any item over $15-$20 anymore from walmart. It is way too risky.
I did not appreciate this card at all. It doesn't allow you to purchase anything, and when you call to ask for help they send you 145 FAQs that are not helpful. You end up with money on a card that you can never get back. What makes this even more interesting is that this e-gift card never expires so you can always be reminded that you have money sitting somewhere that you will never get back. This card is virtually useless and did I mention you can never get a refund? I was told that I can go to the store to request a cash out, but that is if there is someone working that understands the confusing rules that surround this card. I will never purchase this card for anyone else.
Couldn't add to apple pay nor could it be used to add as a debit card payment for certain services. Asked for refund and was told I would get sent a check %26 it would make it to me in 3 weeks smh. Waste of money now i have to figure out how %26%26 where i can use it online. Would not recommend at all!!!!
Do not purchase! Scam! I purchased a $350 Mastercard digital e-gift card. My adult son attended a work conference almost 2,000 miles from home, ran into a snag as his hotel put his room on a personal credit card, instead of a business credit card in error, causing his bank to flag as fraud and put a hold on his card. Most places would not accept cash, so he was unable to eat, gas up his car rental, etc. He called me for help. Mastercard clearly states in their agreement that a digital e-gift card can be downloaded to Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Wallet and used in person or online wherever Mastercard is accepted, all lies! He called customer service, the agent wasn't able to complete the action of downloading either. MC told him the card numbers could still be used for online purchases. And how would that help him eat in person?! After 22 tries and 3 hours later, we gave up on Mastercard, used a different app, and I sent money to another person he met at the conference, who then transferred it to his phone pay. Called Mastercard for a refund, stated they're unable and for me to call Walmart.com where I purchased. Walmart states they're unable, and to contact MC at a different %23. Again, MC statesld they're unable. I was given a different Walmart %23. Seven phone calls, and no one is issuing a refund for the untouched $350 digital e-gift card, that doesn't come with a digital bar code to be scanned for purchases anywhere, but MC has the nerve to tell me I can still use it for online purchases. Rip-off, scam, false information in their agreement, and false advertising. Most negative experience! Would rate zero if it allowed!
