Matalde Chick Starter Kit with Chicken Playpen Brooder Box with Tent Waterer Feeder Bundles

Serves its purpose. Comfortable size for my seven chicks from birth to feathering. Would hold even more than seven. Easy to keep warm and ventilated. Works perfectly until I can get their permanent home built. A bigger roosting stand is needed but otherwise everything's great.

recieved a broken waterer. Not sure how im suppose to get this fixed.

This was a life saver my daughter bought 6 chicks I already had some older ones in my brooder that were too big to put together so I bought this. It was quick easy set up chicks have plenty of room. I would not recommend putting it outside though a predator could tear through it pretty easy.

Please be very careful if you buy this product!! 5 of my little babies died after being in it for the day in the shade on my porch. I assume it caused them to overheat but perhaps it had some chemical. My poor grand children were so sad 5 of their silkie chicks they incubated died.

super easy to set up. I love that it comes with different covers for the bottom of the pin and a cover for the top. the price for everything included is good. I have 12 freshly hatched chicks in it now and they have plent of room for now. I expect to have to switch them to something larger by the time they are 3 or 4 weeks old. its also easy to move. I ended up relocating the pin with wood chip bedding in it twice and never spilled any chips out and it was easy to carry without folding it back together. I may end up purchasing a second one.

it's a lot bigger than I expected and I loved how it popped open when I took the bands off ( it has a warning on it!) I wish it came with instructions and a little mirror. I just have 1 chick that hatched so far!

This is really cool! Because if the amount of room this has, it allows the chicks to separate when they get hot, but we know exactly where they are at all times!

It served its purpose but the inside reflective liner completely fell apart. I will be contacting the company for a replacement. Otherwise it will be returned

Overall, I would happily buy this again because of all that it offers and its good size. However, it might not be the best for long-term use since the strings tend to come out and it's made of a material that can be tricky to clean.

All the parts were there. Everything went together very easy and the chicks love it. I just wish there was a way to connect a ultraviolet light to keep them warm.
