Mateo's Gourmet Mild Salsa, 16 oz, All Natural Ingredients

I love Mexican food, but I do NOT like spicy food. Mild suites me fine. I had heard about this product and decided to try it. My first taste of it was just a spoon dip. It's more on the juicy side, not very chunky. I was not that impressed with the taste at first. Once I started using it mixed with other stuff, I love it now. I made burritos for dinner and mixed some of this sauce in with the ground beef. It was so good. I also mixed a little into the refried beans. It was yummy. I will be buying more of this sauce when I need it. It is more on the soupy side rather than thick. I don't mind that, but some might.

this has been my absolute hands down favorite salsa for years. its the bees knees. i perfer the mild over the medium because the mild has for of a lime flavor in place of the spice which i love. i can easily kill a whole jar of this in one sitting on my own.

This is my absolute most favorite salsa, and the only one I will buy. I used to buy it when I lived in Alaska and then they stopped selling it which made me very very sad. This is perfect salsa for me who doesn't like onions, large chunks, or super spicy things. It has a small amount of kick, but it is very flavorful which is more important to me. And it has a lot of small chunks, but no onions or large chunks. I love this stuff and highly recommend it!

I discovered this during a "BOGO" at my local grocery. I later saw it was highly rated by taste testers. I can't get enough. I take a hard boiled egg, some seasoning and a dab of Mateo's. Yum! Love it on chips, too. I tried the medium, and it's not too spicy, but I like the flavor of the mild. Try it on eggs, burgers, almost anything.

This is my families favorite salsa! I'm so glad I tried this. It's delicious and very authentic. It's also the puréed style like what you would have in an actual restaurant or if you canned salsa at home.

This is by far one of the best salsas I've had. Only thing is when the jar gets low a lot of the juice is gone and your left with just the ingredients which is still ok, it taste so good and I'm hooked now.

My family loves this salsa! Great with chips as a dip or on tacos. Nice texture, not watery at all. Yes to flavor but not too spicy. Perfect on top of enchiladas or burritos!

absolutely love this. i like mild. no heat, just good taste. i have ot ober eggs, taco salad, other. highly recommend. WM used to carry the taco sauce by Mateos, but sadly not now. thats where i got hooked on this line of product

I've been buying this salsa for years, LOVE it. But, recently they have changed the lid so that it does not seal in some cases. I had to throw away a whole new jar because the lid had already been opened or loosened because it is a poor choice for lid closure. It is dangerous if unsealed, botulism is a real issue and can be fatal. Sadly, I can no longer purchase this product. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
