I played first with my husband to test it out. We almost forgot that the kids were suppose to try them and not us! :) I really like this because my two boys do everything together but sometimes argue over who plays with what. With this toy they can play together and have fun. It's really simple to set up especially with the easy instructions. They were very simple and easy to understand, even for a child. This is a fun way to battle with your friends. Not too easy to knock them off if you are a child, they will mostly just have fun and throw punches. It's easy to knock them off though, just go for the opponents jaw! Overall I think it's a great toy and the age range is perfect. Definitely some easy yet challenging fun. I also like that no batteries or anything else is needed to set up! My kids really enjoy playing with this, they are ages 6 &8. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought these for my 7 year old daughter who is a big Batman fan to play with her dad who is a big Superman fan they are awesome because they are very realistic but at the same time stick to the Rock'em sock'em nostalgia that we all love. They not only keep my seven-year-old daughter and my husbands attention but also my nine-year-old daughter and my four-year-old son as well as mine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving this, I was expecting something much smaller, I was quite impressed to find the size is of about an 8 inch superhero. It's not made of cheap flimsy plastic. More of a hard plastic, which is appropriate for what these are made for. This is age appropriate I would say for a 5+ aged child. My 3 year old hasn't quite figured out how to press the bottoms down to fight. There are 6 parts on total. My kids needed my help the first time assembling it, but anytime any of the parts came apart they were able to put them back together no problem. My kids played this game for about an hour straight starting from opening the package. This toy gets played with on a daily basis, sometimes more than once. This toy is a huge hit in my household. Alot of laughter and excitement that's for sure! We absolutely love this superhero game and would be interested in other super hero's or characters.

My 6 year old liked the product when we first received it, but has since lost interest. Product seems to be made will, but don't know for sure how long it will hold up before breaking. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has held up great to a 10 year old and a 6 year old. The characters actually look right. The only thing that could make it better would be if they were connected like in the original game. Being two separate pieces makes it super easy to cheat or get lost.

I got this for my 6 year old son's birthday and he loves it! He has been a batman fan for a long time and to finally find a rock em sock em batman toys was the perfect gift for him. I really wanted to love this product but feel it falls short. My 6 year old son had a great time playing with my husband but the fact that Batman and Superman are not connected makes it had to have a fair game. My son kept picking Batman off the counter and essentially slamming him into Superman. I really wish there was some sort of stationary component to this (like the old boxing ring) that would allow players to easily sit on the floor/carpet and play while allowing the characters to move but not be free. While I'm sure we'll take this out of the box again I'm not sure I'd recommend to friends. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
