When traveling I usually just throw my adapters, plugs etc in a ziplock and everything gets all tangled. This little case will keep everything very organized and untangled. I keep all my back up on the go cables, earbuds, adapters etc in here ready to go. It’s a hard case so it will not get squashed when packing and it will keep its shape. It has one side with a mesh pocket and the other side has a band to keep everything from sliding around. I would definitely recommend this product. Great for traveling for work, fun or wherever you are going!

When I travel for work, I have to carry my laptop, along with all of the peripherals, as well as USBs, earbuds, extra cables, etc. Sometimes, after I've stashed all of that into my computer carrying bag, it looks like a hurricane has gone through! This little zip-up case will help so much to keep my computer stuff organized. I had it out of the packaging and started filling it up within 5 minutes of getting it! First, it's black, which goes with everything. It's hardshell, so I don't have to worry about my earbuds or USBs being crushed. It has a pocket on one side for small little items (perfect for stick drives and USBs), which is made of mesh so you can easily see what is there. It fits neatly into my messenger bag, keeping all that little stuff contained and neat. When I am on my way home, after collapsing into my seat on the plane, I can easily open this little case to take out my earbuds, rather than rummaging through my entire carry-on, digging a tangled mess out of the bottom. The case is just tall enough to hold a pen, too. It has a ribbon pull on the side so you can easily pull it out of your larger bag. If your bag has hooks, you could use it to hook your case into your bag for a little extra security. I will probably get a couple more of these in different sizes for other cables and chargers. It's a great little case.

Do you have some expensive piece of electronic equipment or item that is not more than 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1" in dimensions that you need to carry around on the job, or on vacation, or while traveling? Well, here is a case to keep it in that is hardshell on the outside, yet firm and spongey on the inside to cushion from inadvertent drops or hard knocks. While it is not waterproof to the extent that it prevents water intrusion from lengthy submersion, it will protect from water intrusion from an inadvertent brief drop into a shallow water body (as in a rain puddle.) I tested that myself. And of course, it will protect from raindrops and sprinklers. The case is covered with a durable black fiber cover over a hard plastic casing and opens and closes with a tight-fitting zipper. Inside are two pockets -- one on each side. One pocket has an elastic band, and the other pocket has an elastic band and with a mesh screen. The obvious application is small hand-held devices such as a small cell phone, MP3 player, video recorder, or GPS unit, and included accessories such as earbuds and USB cord. But it could also be used for testing equipment such as an electrical/electronic multimeter.

This is a nice hard shell case for small items. A few phone cords, a plug, flash drives. It can be used for just about anything you want in a handheld case. Great for the pool, credit card, drivers license, some cash. I would not fit a great deal of items, but a nice case. Would fit in to a handbag while traveling.

I have a few different brand cases exactly like this, and theis Maxell storage case offers the same features, hard fabric outer shell, padded shock absorbing interior, netted pocket and elastic strap on the other side. It zippers closed and has a light duty fabric carry strap.Good basic product.

This is a solid little case that fits in my pocketbook or a suitcase to use to carry electronic attachments such as chargers to keep them from getting lost or entangled with other things. It could be used for smaller cellphones. It will be handy the next time I travel.

Overall, I am fairly happy with the Maxell Storage Case. It’s a small case at approximately 4 inches by 8.25 inches and is about 1.85 inches thick. It is a hard shell case and has extra padding on the inside to protect the items. There is a full zipper along the top, right side, and bottom – that even opens up onto the left side slightly at the top and bottom and allows for the storage case to fully open up and lay flat when opened. Due to its small size, the case is great for smaller items such as cables, connectors, wall plugs, ear buds and even devices that might be small enough, plus many other items. The case is water resistant and shock proof and seems to be really well made. It feels durable and I think it will hold up great over time. This would be great for traveling when you only have a few small cords or accessories to bring with you. I like that it also has a handle or strap on the side to carry it, which is really convenient to put on your wrist if you need to keep it close by. If you have too many cords that you travel with though, this wouldn’t be big enough because it is pretty small. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small, protective case for their electronic accessories!

The case is certainly hard and will protect whatever is stored in it but that won't be much. It's sold as a small case but it's external dimensions are larger than I expected; 4 1/2 by 6 1/2. Because of that I was expecting a roomy case but I could only fit some cables and SD cards. Nothing thicker than an inch. A small phone would fit in it but not my iPhone. The inside of the case is basic. It has a mesh pocket and an elastic strap. Nothing more is really needed for the limited items that can be stored in it. So unless you have something that is thin enough and needs good protection than this is overkill. My cables don't require this level of protection or bulk in a case.

This review is for the Maxell Small Hardshell Electronics Case. This case was meant to be used to hold small electronic cords for some of my small game systems. The space is good enough to hold at least two cords, so this would have been the main use for this product. When mentioning the “would have”, I first have to state that I was unable to use this electronic case from the moment it had arrived. At first look, it's the perfect size to hold some smaller outlet and USB cords. It has the ability to hold more than one cord, which is helpful when needing to bring them with you, but don't want to lose them. For the unfortunate part of this review, the first time I zipped this case open, the zipper broke and was unable to reattach it. Due to this, I was unable to use this case for the intent that I had originally planned. The zipper portion seems cheaply made, so the breaking on first use, which explained the almost immediate break. Due to these reasons, I think that this case would be perfect for those who needs to hold some smaller cords or other electronic items. Due to the cheapness of the zipper and it breaking almost immediately, this makes me question the durability of the whole product. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product due to the inability to use it for it's intended purpose.
