Newbie to this whole train obsession
My toddler daughter recently went to a train birthday party & came back a train obsessed monster. I had no idea she would be so interested in trains. I decided to buy her a set & was shocked @ how expensive they are. I like how this set is compatible with Thomas, brio & the other big brands. I'm very pleased with the price & quality of this set & look fwd to my little conductors smile.

Perfect For An Add On Pack
I got this intended just for extra pieces so my son could build more track at a fraction of the cost. Plus have extras to make a town. Fits with all wooden tracks! If buying as a first track set I would buy more as there's not a lot of pieces to be real creative.

Sturdy and easy to use
My two year old granddaughter can put the pieces together easily and was very intrigued with the magnetic attachments. Somewhat frustrating for her to figure out the polar opposite side that repels rather than attached. I only set out a portion of the pieces since 40 is overwhelming for her age.

Christmas Gift
It's not thin wood and so far none of the paint wants to rub off. It does require an older sibling or parent to follow the layout to assemble track. I am grateful a layout was included. It is not as big as I thought it would be for the number of pieces and picture. Still, it's not plastic which is nice.

Great to use as an expansion pack.
This was a great size as an expansion pack or as a starter pack for the wooden train set. My 2 year old grandson loves it.

Too small.
The parts are smaller than expected. I guess that is what you get for under $20. The set seems well built though.
