Mayfair Affinity Slow Close Elongated Plastic Toilet Seat in White Never Loosens, Removes for Easy Cleaning and Greater Stability

This new "never loosens" design is really slick, makes cleaning the seat and bowl so much easier of course - but it's the installation that most impressed me. The screws and bolts have changed, square head screws stay put while bolting on, and the 5/8" (16mm") bolts are a great new design with a head that snaps off when the proper torque has been reached (but remainder of long bolt shaft remains in case you need to back it off later). The hinge has a nice sanitary design, just like the Mayfair seat I was replacing.

I just moved in to a rental that I bought to live in so the old toilet seat had to go! This looks good and I am pleased with price and quality. My Mom had one and it stood the test of time.

Nice looking, easy to install other than the snap off bolts. Online price was significantly less than in store.

Received as advertised. It's made of a durable plastic. It closes slowly, so you never hear a slamming sound when you close it. It's easy to install, but you need a 5/8" wrench thingy. The instructions were easy to understand. No problems with it. It doesn't slide around on the bowl or anything annoying. All good!

Very easy to install and looks so much nicer than the wooden builders grade one we had. It closes really slowly, strange to say but it could close a little faster.

So far, it's just nice to have a toilet seat that's attached to something. Still need to finish installing it by tightening up and breaking a part of the bolts off. Noone did this on our last seat and that could be why it broke earlier than expected. May write more later to see if it's easy to clean. We're just happy that it stays put. The stoppers on the underneath of the seat are nice to help keep the seat on the toilet, and I'm happy it has a slow-close top because I have small grandchildren.

Easy to install and good fit. Slow close works ok. Wish the plastic material was sturdier and heavier. The glossy finish scratches easily.

I like the design, except it needs another set of studs where the seat meets the toilet. The seat fits really good. I'm 250lbs. and this seat sinks all the way to the porcelian. I'll have to keep this because I really need a seat today and cannot get back to Walmart for a few days. I will never buy another Mayfair product again.
