The knives are sharp and beautifully placed. I wish the bottom wasn't plain wood. But otherwise it looks really good on my counter

Don't let the price fool you, this is an excellent home use knife set. They are basic but good knives, all come very sharp, actually sharpened properly, not a wire edge/burr that feels sharp and immediately dulls. Easy to clean and store after use, the block is nice and heavy so it stays in place and doesn't take up much counter space. My most used tools in this set(daily) are the bread knife, santoku, paring and shears, all do their jobs wonderfully. The bread knife and shears being the most surprisingly useful tools. If you need a knife set I'd certainly recommend this one. PS. Whenever you feel the knives getting a bit less sharp, just strop them to get em back to razor sharp. Always maintain your blades, never let them get dull. 👍

These out perform any knives Ive ever had. Out of the box theyre super sharp. This is the best set of these Ive owned and Ill never buy anither brand!

I was excited about this item as the pictures seemed to indicate high quality knives and the price was excellent. The box had some weight too it so I figured the knives would have some weight too it. However, the craftsmanship is lacking the knives are light weight and flimsy. The plastic handle feels cheap but the blade is sharp. The wood box holder seems good quality it was where most of the weight come from. The scissors also seem like good quality and have some weight to them too. Also, according to the box these are hand dry only and should be dried immediately which indicates they will likely rust. For these reasons, I will be returning these knives. I wanted to like them but I think it's better to spend a few extra bucks to get a good quality set. Beautiful set but after 1 hand wash of knives, gold color came off.

I need to return. The knife holder have crack.

These knives are very cheaply made. They got rusty the very first time they got wet. They got dull after only a few uses. Not worth the price paid. Stainless steel is not supposed to rust like that.
