McCormick Culinary Kosher Lemon 'N Herb Seasoning, 24.0 oz Bottle

I have been searching for Lemon and Herb spice for several years. At one time McCormick sold it in super markets. When Lemon and Herb seasoning is sprinkled on sliced raw vegetables, cucumber, celery, peppers, radishes, etc, this is my favorite snack. Lemon and Herb is a great seasoning for seafood and many other dishes.

I looked all over for Lemon N' Herb for over 8 months and could not find it anywhere in 2 states. I finally googled it and found it in this large size package I you guessed it Amazon. But I was excited to finally be able to get it at all even thought it was soo much larger than the normal 2.5 oz size and there would only be me to using it. But still I decided, to as they say, to bite the bullet, and order it even though it was so large. Upon get it and before even using it I was immediately confronted by the label that had a very easily visable use by date. Now I do applaud the makers for putting the use by date in such an easily visable place. I don't have to go searching to find this label or this date. No, it's right out front. But then there is only one label on the entire bottle so that does limit their possibilities. Well, a product of this large size, I had hoped I would get at least a year's time to use. No, that wasn't going to be the case! The use by date was April 28, 2023! That would gives me 5 months to use it by!! A 5 month use by date on a product of that size!! I'm was terrible disappointed. 😔. But I also wondered how looking had it been sitting on the shelve before it was sent to me?? Like I said, I assumed I would get a year of freshness out of this product. Not less than 6 months. Well, I decided to make the best out of a bad situation and take most of the seasoning and freeze it into smaller individual sizes that I could take out as I would need it. This would make it last longer and that way I can just take some as I need it but that was my only option. Now back to the important thing. The seasoning!! It was a BIG HIT on my spaghetti squash!! I had missed it so much over the last 8 months that I hadn't been able to find it. I was so glad that I finally had it and it still tasted just as good as I had remembered!! If your not a pepper person, like me. But you still like your lemon flavor, like me. This is the seasoning for you!! You get all the lemon you want without that naste pepper taste but with the added herb flavoring!! You can't go wrong with this seasoning! You can use it on so many thing. Fresh veggies, meats, fish, chicken and the list is only limited but things you haven't tried it on yet!! It's that good. Why don't they make it in the normal size container anymore?? I wish I had an answer for you but I don't. But maybe someone reading this review can answer this question? Perfect lemon herbs n spice. Very lemony!! Best brand Ive found!! I purchased three! Great on fish, chicken and roasted vegetables!! Delivery was fast.

It can’t be duplicated! A dash while cooking your favorite fish, fresh vegetables or even add to the butter of your crab legs....omg! Please bring it back to the stores.

glad to finally have this product. No longer carried in the stores that I can find. So although it's a larger amount than I wanted to purchase I look forward to enjoying. Not the same as Lemon/pepper. I can't take the pepper

I like that you dont have to use a lot of this seasoning and it gives chicken that burst of lemon flavor. It is a regular in the spice cabinet now.
