TEX-MEX Chili Season Mix is all I use. Check the ingrediency. No bad things like corn syrup. I have diabetes so I have to watch what I eat. The taste is great! I also use it to spice other Mexican foods.

Now that it's officially fall, it's acceptable to make chili. And this is the best seasoning mix to use! It's the perfect amount of flavor and you can add some peppers if you want a bit more spice. I also suggest topping it off with some shredded cheese, sour cream, and avocado.

I combined a 10-bean (ish) mix with some pre-cooked ground turkey, a can of diced tomatoes, and the tex-mex chili mix in our instant pot. The flavor was spicy, but not overly so, and tasted nearly salt-free. I generally prefer to add my own mix of spices, because I can control the taste better, but I was pleased with the combination of spices in this pre-mixed pouch.

It was tasty the first night but If you let it rest until the next day and re-heat it you would never know it wasn't a 3 hour chili. I used this seasoning packet to make a beef chili with beans, and it has a very nice flavor. I like it better than the standard chili seasoning. It contains several different peppers and tastes great. I did end up adding a bit of extra cayenne and a little salt because it was just a touch bland for my taste when combined with all of the ingredients, but I think that if I had doubled up on seasoning packets this probably wouldn't be necessary.
