McDavid Brand Ankle Brace With Straps, Adjustable, Black, Adult Large

This is a great brace. It helped stabilize my ankle, the velcro is pretty sticky and the lace up is what I liked about it. I could adjust the brace to exactly the way I wanted it. I would definitely recommend this brace.

Really like this brace I had a torn Achilles and this brace is a huge help giving support for my ankle and foot my doctor suggested I get it and I actually feel like it's helping me heal

Been a fan of McDavid ankle braces for a couple decades now. Easy to don and doff, excellent in fitting inside boots and serve their intended purpose. Horrific compound ankle fracture caused me to search for an option besides taping.

Very supportive when I play pickleball on a healing ankle fracture

After suffering a triple compound fracture of my ankle playing tennis, I thought I would never play again. My surgeon recommended an ankle brace after rehab and the McDavid ankle brace was on his list. I will not play tennis without it. I actually wear a brace on both ankles. It's been ten years now and six months after the injury I was back to playing tennis -as I do today three or four times a week. Oh, by the way, I was 62 when the injury occurred and I am 72 now and still playing tennis and wearing my McDavid ankle braces.

Fifty years in the service industry takes its toll on the body, especially your feet. At 70, I have degenerative arthritis in my left foot where lateral movement is very painful. Bone fusion surgery is out of the question. I decided to try the McDavid ankle brace, Model 195. Very similar to a custom orthopedic brace I tryed about 5 years ago, at a much more reasonable price. Slips over your foot/ankle, laces up, has two nylon straps that cross over one another with velcro closure, and a top strap. Support is excellent. Provides for normal up and down movement of the ankle while preventing lateral movement in the foot. Much less pain! Since I have a wide foot, my shoes are 4E width which allows for a comfortable interface between shoe and brace. Easy to adjust, excellent durability, Keeps me on my feet for work and play.

Comfortable, secure and non-rigid support. The brace fits easily into sneakers and I use it during workouts and when wearing sneakers. If I could wear this brace all the time I would. I have tendonitis in both feet and am flatfooted; essentially recovering from injury too. The laces are not sewn in so if they wear out they can be changed. I am satisfied with the product and highly recommened it.

I had a grade 2 ankle sprain about 3 months ago and wanted to try to get back to playing with an ankle support for preventive measures and peace of mind. I found that it's hard to fit in any of my basketball shoes to play in (without being scared of deforming the shoe even with loosening), and when I got it to fit in the shoe it would fit really tight and feel a bit uncomfortable. I know I should of expected it as it is a higher level brace but reading some of the reviews that said it was comfortable and had no issues with playing with it I thought it be ok sand fit better. I think the support itself seems pretty good, and would of been pretty good to use for support for walking in the beginning of my injury, but for the purpose I bought it for to play right now it's not good since I can't really play in them so it's kind of a waste in my case.
