i play volleyball and had a wrist injury. it healed but it's not as strong as it was. sometimes it interfered with my playing. This brace gives me the super i need without the bulk. It allows me to play at my best!
Fits well and easy to use and put on. It is comfortable to wear, and stabilizes the wrist nicely.
After waking up with a stiff wrist (likely from sleeping on it all night), it was pretty painful to move. I used this mobilizer to hold my wrist in place until the pain went away and mobility returned to normal. In the old days, we used a piece of thin wood with gauze or stretchy wrist binding. (Yes, I'm THAT old). This is a real step up. I love this thing.
If your wrist is swollen at all or you are very plus sized, don't use this. My wrist was swollen and it was such a snug fit to try to get on, but after 30 mins to an hour, I could feel the circulation leaving my hand.
This brace work well enough though I wish it had more than one support splint. It was confusing at first on how to put it on as there was no instructions; the brace had this patch of fabric that was supposed to be part of the sleeve you put your hand into but I did not know that so I suppose it was my fault for being so thick-headed. You can adjust the tightness and there are two slots to put the support splint into depending on your wrist size or you can even leave it out altogether. The only thing that bugged me was how easily lint and hair sticks to the material but a swath of tape usually takes care of that and it is also hand-washable as well. I would suggest that you take it off for awhile every day if you can as the material is not very breathable and can make your skin itch or the brace smell a little. Overall it is a decent brace for most sprains and tendon sprains too.
The brace has great support for supporting the palm through the wrist their were a few flaws of the plastic support not staying in place all the time but did provide support to the wrist for decent stability but not enough to keep up with my school work the brace is a bit bulky and hits keys on the keyboard at times but the top of the wrist has no stability making it hard at times to have proper stability. And a difficult time completing tasks.
This caused more pain than it resolved. There is a stiff strip that runs along the length of it and the end at the top of the brace pressed into my knuckles, causing pain and discomfort and restricting my movement. I wore the brace to bed one night and woke up with my hand in pain. Stopped wearing the brace and my knuckles continued to hurt for several days. Never wearing it again!
It did not support the sprained wrist at all. I threw this away and found a better wrist brace to help with pain and healing.
Not enough support and it seemed to turn my wrist the wrong way.
Gave it back to customer service.
