An often over-looked item for your first aid kit
These gauze eye pads from a reputable brand are first rate. Soft and thick for maximum comfort. Individual slips are very well sealed -- the paper won't tear but you notice the resistance when opening. Excellent value when buying in bulk. Can be repurposed for other bandaging needs if necessary. For something serious, you are going to the doctor but for a minor irritation, having these pads on hand is far better comfort-wise than wadding up some squares of gauze.

Perfect size
I had an eye removed due to cancer and needed to keep the eye covered for a few weeks. These were the perfect size.

They serve their purpose nicely
Sterile and individually packaged which is important when putting something against your eye. Use one inside eyepatch at night to keep eye moist; also keeps eye from rubbing against pillow or sheets which can cause irritation. These eye patches serve their purpose.
