so far this meater seems to be good. accurate and good connections with my iphone. my last meter, only a week or so out of warranty fell apart. during an oven roast, it stopped working. when we took the roast out of the oven and tried to remove the heater thermometer, the shaft separated from the internal parts and a white goo oozed out of it. wasn't sure it was safe so we only ate the other end of the roast. hopffullly, this heater will poop out before the warranty, or last longer than the first.

I received a MEATER block last year as a present since I loved the original 1 probe model. Well on Christmas I host almost 40 people for Christmas dinner. I cook 2 whole prime ribs and a Turkey in a double oven. Well earlier that morning I fell and broke my hip which required surgery and a hospital stay, but thanks to the MEATER block I was able to direct family members how to cook the meats over the telephone. The WiFi worked PERFECTLY in the emergency room. Granted, I was on the phone 50 times with my son giving him directions, but thanks to the MEATER your product saved Christmas dinner Great product!!

Perfection... My Turkey was perfectly cooked. Upstairs the thermometer would go out of range, but easily reconnect when I went downstairs. No complaints. The app is great too.

Once you figure it out, you will never mess up a cook ever again. Have used it for reverse sear, grilling, a full range of other uses and even reheating homemade sausage rolls and it has never been a let down.

This is the second MEATER I have purchased. Definitely enjoy cooking with these. This MEATER took a long time to receive. When I finally received it the package was completely ripped open and had several holes in the package besides the ripped open edge. The MEATER was still in its sealed box and gloves looked good. Not sure what happened during shipping process

This is fantastic once you figure out how to use it. The range is not the best of all the thermometers and I wish that was better. It is super easy to set up and start using. Easy to set up and change a cook. Not restricted in preset options like some brands. I do wish the app would change to let you make alarms for external temp limits though. Right now you can only set alarms for internal temps.

A strong 3 out of 5 stars. We do a lot of meat smoking in our home. This device has helped dramatically. It's worth the money I paid for it, simply by not having to constantly open the smoker to check the temperature. However, the small wooden case needs to be with a couple feet or it loses its signal. Even 2 to 3 feet can cause the signal to be lost during cooking. I have used it in the oven and smoking meats and found the temperature to be accurate. The only drawback is losing signal, and often times it takes a very long time to generate an estimated cooking time not to mention the estimated cooking time is often wrong. Still a good device. I would certainly still buy it again.

I bought this and the range was literally 10' from the cook, then died on a brisket cook did not last for 8 hours, not what I was expecting, changed batteries and tried again and still no range from the smoker. Waist of money!
