I got this pump to take to work. I already owned the same type of pump (stays at home) which I got from my insurance. I pump at home before going to work and I pump at work twice before coming home. The pump in the bag is discreet and roomy; pockets help keep supplies organized. All I transport back and forth are the pump parts and the milk. The storage bag with ice pack is handy, but sometimes I need to fit more than 4 bottles in that storage bag. Overall Medela pump in style in a tote is affordable, compact and compatible with my stay-at-home pump.
It works great. Super easy to use.
I had a different brand of pump and it only Worked for a short amount of time so I was excited to try this one and let me tell you it works wonders! Absolutely love it and it's so convenient for on the go .
I AM AN EXCLUSIVE PUMPER ONLY.. THIS PUMP IS GREAT! I AM A 1ST TIME MOM WHO WAS NOT PLANNING ON BREAST FEEDING BUT DUE TO SOME COMPLICATIONS DURING BIRTH THE DRS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BREAST MILK FOR MY SON. IT IS AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF WORK CONSIDERING I AM A 911 DISPATCHER AND I WORK SWING SHIFTS.. DIFFRENT EVERY WEEK. THIS PUMP IS SMALL BUT POWERFUL! ALTHOUGH I THINK I MAY BE WEARING IT OUT .. I THINK IT HAS LOST SOME SUCTION POWER.. I HOPE IT HOLDS ON AND KEEPS WORKING FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS UNTIL I CAN SWITCH MY SON TO WHOLE MILK. I HAVE TOLD MY AUNT WHO ALSO RECENTLY HAD A BABY AND IS NOW A MEDELA PUMP OWNER AND ALSO SEVERAL FRIENDS! THEY ALSO LOVE MEDELA!
I have the Pump In Style from my first pregnancy over four years ago. I got a new hospital grade pump (different brand) through my insurance and was so excited to use it, but have been really disappointed in it. I ended up going back to my Medela pump and I'm much more comfortable. It's so much simpler, too, no confusing trial and errors.
I got a list of pumps and parts to select from through my insurance while I was pregnant. After asking other moms and reading reviews I decided on the medela pump in style advanced backpack. I went back to work after my baby turned 3 months so the backpack was great to store everything, take it to work or eben pump super easy in my car if I had to. The pump is secure in the backpack and won't fall out. I also got a pump bra so with the backpack in my shoulders i could even do the dishes or something while pumping. I bought this model back in 2011 when I had my second child and continued to use it on and off for 6 years until I no longer needed it after I was done nursing my fifth and final child. While I was in nursing school full time it was very convenient having everything I needed securely in one bag that I could just grab and go like a second handbag, actually it was the only handbag I'd bring with me on the days I had to be at the hospital all day. I stored pumped milk in the small insulated bag with an ice pack that fit inside the big bag. I also bought a car charger that was sold as an accessory to this model but I never ended up needing to use it. Overall I can't recall ever having any issues and give it a big thumbs up!
It works great i would tell people about it
the bag and such are nice but the pump is absolute crap. I picked this one cuz the one I got from my insurance is losing power after 7 months and somehow that one has more power than this scam box. I just want to pump with out stressing out because of a machine
I have to exclusively pump since I had my baby, and at 6m this thing is on MAX suction but it's operating with a feel of low setting (it has suction like it's powered with dying AA batteries, even though it's plugged in with power cord ON MAX). I bought the replacement plan, now looking into exchanging or returning.
