Medela SoftShells Sore Nipple Kit

I was bound and determined to quit pumping but I saw these and tried them. It saved my nipples! They were so sore from rubbing all the time and they looked gross from having them set in a warm environment. (I kept pads/cloths in my bras to help with irritation) As soon as I tried these it was relief. After a few days my nipples looked and felt tons better. They look perfectly fine under clothes unless u wear a nursing pad also. Then it causes it to look a little lumpy. If you have sore nipples please try these for a week. You won't be sorry!!

These little guys helped me through the early stages of breast feeding a couple times. Wearing these in between feedings provides the healing time needed! It allows airflow instead of having you're pad or bra resting directly on your nipples causing even more irritation. I often buy these as shower gifts for friends who I know plan to breast feed. I'm on my 6th child and plan to use them right from the beginning rather than waiting to see if I need them. Totally worth it!

Missing foam inserts. Love the cups wish they came with the inserts.

I wanted to love this product! The idea was creative, but if you have any milk that does not absorb in the inserts and you bend over, it all comes out!! Its perfect for wearing at home, but not so much at the grocery store. Maybe it is just an item that you need to get used to?!?! It did however help my sore nipples not touch my bra.

These are very big. They also create some suction, so they leaked. I didn't try with the foam inserts to catch the milk because there was just too much milk being letdown from the suction. If you lean forward milk will just leak all over the place from the holes on top. Also, creates moisture so I felt like nipples never got to dry/heal while wearing these. Would not recommend.

Wow! I was really hoping this would give me the relief that i needed for my sore nipples but instead it only made them feel worse. The entire areola pushed through and was rubbing on the outside of the shell and when my breasts were full the pressure hurt like crazy.

This gave me clogged ducts within 24 hrs of using. Stopped using them and was just fine.
