Mederma Cold Sore Discreet Healing Patch, 12 Hour Protection, 15 Count

Do not hesitate. Don’t second guess cause of the price. Buy these. I have ALWAYS struggled with the healing phase of my cold sores. I have creams. I have pills. But if I don’t catch the “rupture” in time? Two weeks of oozy, gooey, crusty, bloody lip. I considered buying these patches for years and never did. I know better now! Idk how they work, but I slap these bad boys on in the morning and I’m good alllllll day! One at night, no bloody pillow! For anyone this far in my review, I have some thoughts that helped mine stay on. 1) REALLY dry off the lip area. I washed my whole face with antibacterial soap and let it all dry like a desert. Applied lotion and oil after, avoiding the patch area. 2) I cut mine in half. Wasn’t easy, sometimes I would loose the other half cause it folded on itself. But honestly, I think this allowed mine to stay on with zero issue and some said theirs came off. I added a picture. No glamour or beauty to be found, but if you can manage it, in half was the trick I needed! At best, you double your product. At worst they stay on better and longer for the same amount.

I will never go through another cold sore without these patches. They relieve every uncomfortable symptom of having a cold sore. Greatly reduces tingling, burning and itching. AND No more scabs cracking open painfully to fit that burger or sub in!! No spicy juices burning your sores. Love love love

I’ve had cold sores my entire life, and nothing helps like these do! It keeps the sore covered so I don’t have to worry about accidentally touching it, or food touching it. It shortened the healing time as well, and my most recent sore was completely healed and gone in a week!

One thing I’d like is it the applicator tab was able to pull apart into halves. I like to cut the patches in half to save more and it fits perfectly on my lip without it flopping inside my mouth or off the lip. This would make it easier for me to cut with scissors maybe or maybe not. Just a thought! Or maybe smaller patch options for smaller lips.

Okay so I wasn’t to sure about these as I never used them.these are amazing, now I used them towards the end of my break out as I just wanted to cover my break out. When I put the first one on I thought I did it wrong because I didn’t even feel it on my lip. They are amazing and I will keep purchasing them.

I love these. They stay put. I don’t like how I can feel it flip up from the part inside my lip when I eat but it doesn’t rip off and lays back down fine. I always dealt with my scab ripping off over and over again and it could take forever to heal. This is essentially the scab. You’re just managing it, so it skips a lot of the healing time.

I absolutely love this product. I was getting a fever sore on my lip before it even came to fruition. It was gone. I love these things and they’re almost invisible. Definitely recommend this product if you like me and get fever sores when you get stressed out nervous I actually get a break out of them. This was an unbelievable product,

If I get a fever, I will end up getting a fever blister on my lip. It drives me crazy. Now I’m gonna end up having a sore mouth for up to two weeks sometimes. I’ve used Abreva before and it works pretty good at speeding up the healing process. As I was placing my order for that, I came across these patches and I thought why not, at least it would not be as visible as it was healing. I had no way of knowing just how well this would work. When the order came, I used the Abreva a couple of times . There was a sore, but it had not popped open, so it was just red at this point, early stages. Since I had an appointment to go to, I decided to try the little patch. I will say one thing about it and that is that I wasn’t even sure what it was. It’s in a hole Packet that it’s not very certain how it works. Basically you’re going to peel off the bottom of this device and throw away the part that is just a protection for the sticker itself. You can’t even tell that it’s on the peel away part at first next you wanna line it up with where you want it on your lip. After it was on there, I kind of rubbed around and made sure that it was stuck on– and it does stick firmly on. I left it on the first time for an entire day and a few things I noticed. First, it wasn’t irritating me and it wasn’t causing me to constantly lick my lips. It was not as sore as what it usually is. When I took the sticker off at the end of the night, I was amazed that the outbreak had not progressed. The next day I got up and first thing in the morning I put on a new sticker. I’m now at the end of that day and I really feel like this is not going to break out any further than just the initial irritation. I am putting on a sticker again tonight before bed And am thrilled at the results of these. Where have they been all my life one thing of note, when you get ready to take it off, it really is adhered so you can definitely feel a little pull. Totally worth it as far as I’m concerned, less expensive than Abreva.

The patches do not stay on aIt isn't invisible enough ,that I could wear out lastublic. It does help, with the pain but it's supposed to stay on for up to 12 hours but it starts to peel off within 1 hour or less. it was a great idea if it was more appealing to wear outside but it's not for someone of darker skin color. For the price, I expected better results.

I’m very sorry to say that these healing patches cause more harm than good. In using one of these patches, when it was time for the patch to be replaced, I took off the patch and it took off the top layer of my skin with it. The whole point of using a patch is NOT to break the skin. This was not a good experience. Do yourself a big favor. Do not use these patches!
