This is a great cane - very sturdy, very lightweight. I am short and it's hard to find canes that can be adjusted down to 30 inches, so this is perfect. The handle is also very comfortable, the tip is solid and does not slip. All at a very low price, so who could ask for more.

I recently purchased a new cane with a "T" handle on top. No matter what I did, it caused pain between my thumb and pointer finger. I found this cane with the "round" padded top. Purchased it. This style of cane does not cause pain in my hand as the "T" handle does. It is also adjustable for your specific height. This style of cane is easier to hold and adjust your grip to a more favorable position, and it's lightly padded. The older design is still a better design. I expect to be purchasing several to keep as replacements as the padding does wear out.

I have only used it two trips to the grocery store and have received a couple of unsolicited compliments from other cane users. I have used several canes and this one is now my favorite. Would I buy it again or recommend it to a friend, YES!

The previous model of this padded handle aluminum cane seems crude compared to this one. Nicely finished, instantly set-up, you just have to set its length, it automatically deploys the spring loaded stay, and you then just tighten the black ring holding the extension. It looks much better than the prior model and is lighter, too.

I bought it for my boyfriend. He likes this kind of cane with the round handle. I looked for it in many places but this is the only one I found. He really loves it.

Wabbly, sounds like there's a rock bouncing around inside, not sturdy and returned for my safety. Several years ago I received the same cane from KP, and I wanted a back-up. Since I'm a home-body medically, it was nice when my helper returned it with no problem.
