Equate Self-Standing Rubber Cane Tip, Fits 7/8" to 3/4" Cane Shafts

Put this on my walking stick and on my crook handle cane. They both are much easier to handle and the weights of the new tips make it easier to handle and stand up on their own. These also add more sponge type shock absorption.

Bought one for everyone with a cane in the family. Excellent product. Very pleased with product. Saves a lot of money because it’s much less expensive than buying that name brand cane and it does the same thing. No regrets. It was easy to pop the end tip off and pop this on.

These cane base tips are great for my stability and I love that my canes don't topple over. My only caveat is that you need to be careful on damp or wet surfaces because you risk slipping since they're made of a sturdy but smooth rubber; unless you push down directly from the top of the cane to create "suction."

It's not exactly easy to install to gain the perfect 90° angles needed to allow it to stand on its own. If that's not a deal breaker for you, the security of the non-slip, big footprint is perfect.

I bought this for my wife and she's happy with it as it helps her stability on slippery or uneven surfaces. She had to get comfortable with the fact it weighs more than the cap but overall she's pleased. Happy wife, Happy life.

I purchased this for my father to add some stability for him with his cane. He loves it! He is 89 and I shipped it to his home. He put it on his cane his self and loves that the cane stays upright, and it rarely falls to the ground anymore.

The original end on my cane wore a hole and the metal came through so I purchased the Equate Mobility "Self Standing " cane tip. First thing I noticed is that there was difficulty during installation. It says that it fits all 7/8-inch to 3/4-inch cane shafts, but I was thinking at one point this just wasn't going to work, but after twisting it on as suggested in the instructions, it seemed to attach the way it should. The reason I only gave three star ⭐ rating is because although it does stand independently for the Most part, it's frequently wobbly and sometimes my cane tips over because of the newly added weight on the bottom, which defeats the purpose of something that is supposed to be self standing. For the majority it does stand independently, depending largely on the floor surface it's on. It's functional for the most part and walking with my cane is pleasant enough, I don't notice a difference from the original Non-standing tip that was on the cane and this one during the walking process, if anything, this one seems a little more stable. I would purchase again but with some hesitation

This replacement foot for standard walking canes states that it fits 3/4” to 7/8” diameter cane shafts. In terms of fit that 1/8” range of fit seems unlikely. I eyed the diameter of my cane and decided to leave its sturdy rubber foot alone. The “equate” brand replacement is heavy and might not fit your needs.
