These made a huge difference in the way our walker “glides” across any floor. The original nubs had been completely worn down and had almost disappeared! One was partly left and I had to pry it out with a can opener! Once I had that done, the new skis pushed on very easily and now or trusty old walker glides like new! We do highly recommend these! And they were available for same day delivery so my sister could use the walker the next day. We're going to keep an extra pair available so we can replace them as they wear out.

These are very simple to install. They fit right over the existing plugs in the back legs of a walker. I don't know why, but the top half of the package instructions say to replace the wheels of the walker with them. Then,they have a drawing of the skis on the back legs of the walker which is where I put them. The move very smoothly on carpeting, hardwood %26 vinyl floors. This product is a good value for the money.

After some years buying walker skids at a local small town pharmacy (now out of business), I searched on Walmart.com and found these at my store. They are much heavier duty than the ones purchased prior. My 94 mother lives with me and she likes to walk my gravel driveway system on my acreage, so the old skids needed replacing about twice annually. So far these have been on a while and show no appreciable wear.

Fits perfect on hubbys walker after his hip replacement surgery! His walker glides now compared to the post that came on it. He moves across the floor much more smoothly compared to when he was in the hospital. A lady at PT told us about the skis and found them on Walmart's website. A must have for anyone using a walker!

I was amazed at how easily these glides allowed my walker to go over the carpet in our home. We have wall to wall carpet everywhere and the original glides were scuffing the carpet and certainly making them look terrible. Also, they made the walker drag and difficult to move. The new ski glides go smoothly and evenly and don't leave scruffy marks.

after 2 weeks of clumpimg along on my walker after surgery, i got these. wow what a difference. they move easily enough to very easily slide my walker, while still providing support to keep the walker from slipping from me when i don't want it to.

I use these glides on my walker, which I use every day, all day. I do 1 set of ten laps, plus about 10 min. of leg exercises four times a day--on my sidewalk. I wear them down until they literally fall off. The sidewalk is pretty rough on the glides, but I believe I get pretty good wear for my money. I have re-purchased this item several times.

They help walk more smoothly but wear out after a couple on months which is way too soon. Something like this should last at least 6 months. Pretty much a disposable item meaning they're an ongoing expense/burden. Sell them in multi packs like batteries

I recommend this product if it's for around the house walker, but I bought these for a fellow that walks to and from town, and he totally destroyed his.

The visual for the "glides" did not give the dimension, which I would have liked to know what size I would be receiving. It stated that it would fit most walkers , so I took a chance and lost. My legs on my walker are 3/4" in diameter. The package I received clearly states 1-1/8 diameter. The product is probably OK.
