Equate Folding Walker with 5-in Wheels, Black, 350 lb Weight Capacity

Needed this for a sprained ankle and it is a very sturdy and well built walker. You are provided wheels and regular feet for the front as well as extra pads for feet. It is easy to adjust the height and fold. The only thing negative would be that this one is a bit more expensive compared to some others but it could be the build quality or sturdiness difference. So maybe it's worth it for piece of mind that the quality is top notch.

When I was being discharged from hospital, they strongly suggested i use a walker. One of theirs would be over $150. I looked at how much less they cost online and asked the nurse if the hospital one was better. She said, "Nope. That's just hospital mark up." This walker has held up well under a lot of hard use and it was a bargain.

The only complaint I have is the hand grip material can get a bit rough on the hands through continuous use. One of the soft touch plastics would be better. I wound up wrapping them in soft athletic tape which did the trick for me. Other than that, the unit is still solid but a tiny bit squeaky after a couple of weeks use. I weight 180 lbs. I set it up with wheels on the front and stoppers on the back. Works very well for me. Very easy to fold and light enough to carry when a railing is nearby or lifting into a car.

I luv this walker. It looks great in all black, it is wide enough, it collapses with ease, and it is lightweight for traveling. Now, it could be just a little bit more sturdy, but it is good enough for me. There is a little bit of wiggle, but not too much.

Good for temporary use. Husband used it for broken ankle. He got around well with it. I'm not sure how it would hold up to daily use in public places. It is a little flimsy, but good enough for 6ft, 175lb man. Easy to put together. Easy height adjustment. Folds up easily for storage

Sturdy enough. Individual using this weight 140%23 Not sure about it supporting 350%23 Relatively easy to assemble. The latches to release and lock when folding back the handles, one side is not reliable in locking or releasing. It serves it's purpose at a reasonable price.

I am using this indoors and it feels quite comfortable. Not so sure about outdoor use. Seems a tiny bit unsturdy for outdoor terrain. It does however fold easily and pretty compact. I will need to pad handles for continual use. I am very pleased with this purchase.

It's OK for a light weight walker for temporary use. Assembly is fairly easy. The instructions need to make it clear that it's EITHER front leg extensions OR wheel extensions. Not OK for someone who needs stability. It wobbles side to side. The wheels are not exactly the same, so it give a bumpy ride, especially on hard surfaces such as tile.

This walker is incredibly flimsy. It has a 350 lb weight rating and that's about 150 lbs over what it could actually support. The box was also very torn/banged up when it was delivered. It's pretty clear that this was a return that was poorly repackaged. The delivery driver tossing it around on our front porch certainly didn't help. All in all- not worth the money or the hassle.

Walker deserves a negative (-) rating!! It wobbles, doesn't move in straight forward line-pulls to the left. Unstable. Nearly fell due to wobble. Box shows NOT returnable once opened. I am a Physical Therapist and know how to use a walker. I'll be requesting a return. If not accepted, reports will be filed with agencies such as Better Business Bureau. This walker is dangerous to those who have movement imbalances which is why it's purchased in the first place!!
