I really can't say enough great things about the quality and comfort of these crutches. I needed them for a torn meniscus. I'm 5”4, 150 lbs. No issues at all. They were super-easy to adjust to get a perfect fit. The no-slip grip on both hard floors and carpeting feels safe. They are also strong and very lightweight. Don't listen to the bad reviews! For this price, you won't find a better product. Just do it!
Ordering was easy, shipping was fast (maybe I said Fast because I can still walk, just not very far), crutches are light weight, easy to adjust, and fit me. It will take some time getting used to but that should improve as I build strength in muscles that I haven't had to really use. Under arm padding is OK (not horrible, not supreme). Would definitely order again.
They arrived when expected. They are very sturdy with well padded hand holds. I love the height adjustability with marked measurements so I didn't have to do any trial and error. Crutches are very useful to take all pressure off the injured leg when you need to be mobile, but they take practice to get used to them. I do not recommend if you are obese, a poorly coordinated clutz, and/or have arthritis in your hands/wrists.
The crutches were great quality, easy to use and delivered right away which is what we needed. I would definitely recommend again and the price was so affordable. I am so grateful for Medline service!
The lower part that holds the legs on were not attached, the pins or screws were missing. I installed some screws now they work ok. Also 1 of the arm pads has a small cut in it. The box they arrived in was big enough to put 5 pairs on easily, the 1 pair could bounce around in the box alot.
In anticipation of Achilles tendon surgery, I bought these crutches to use for a few weeks. I am 5'4" and 160 lbs. Pros- the range of adjustment was perfect for me. The overall length and the handle location are easy to adjust. I bought these because they are so inexpensive. It might be a case where you get what you pay for. Cons- the handles are very loose in their adjustment holes. They creak and groan with every step. These should lock down much more securely than they do. Also- the red adjustment "caps" that the listing highlights are actually quite sharp on the corners and you'll find it easy to scrape against them. At one point, I actually managed to skin my knee and draw blood! The third thing is that the armpit pads are pretty thin. I've seen other crutches (and used some others many many years ago) that were much more comfortable. If I had it to do over again, I would spend more money and get a better pair of crutches. But if you're on a tight budget and have no other choice, these will certainly do the job.
Returning the item was impossible. I will never again buy something from Walmart.com. I have had to call customer service 5 times to receive my refund
I received two pair of them, I only wanted one pair. A delay in receiving verification of the order made me think that the first order did not go through. How do I return the extra order for credit?
they're made very poorly they don't hold you up and they shake when you try to use them. also the bottoms will slip very easily causing you to fall. because of these crutches I ended up in the hospital again
The handles are easy to move but there is a red part to the handle that stabs at both of my hands when I grip the handles. Very uncomfortable to use. I will not purchase this brand again.
