Antimicrobial Wound Gel healed my son's hand in 3 days and left a slight scar barely noticeable. from a box cutter that sliced into his hand while opening a package. Silver has been used for centuries and is very good for burns, cuts and other skin problems also I Highly recommend this.
My doc recommended me for my surgical incisions which have been very stubborn and won't heal up. I don't know if the ones that are open have gotten better. But the one that's close, it actually started getting smaller and flatter! So that's a pleasant surprise. Hopefully the others will heal up too. Best thing about Walmart is with the membership it was delivered to my door in the same day within hours! I couldn't even find it anywhere else I can buy in person or would be shipped in 10 days. This has helped me tremendously with least hassle and most reassurance. Thanks.
Medline Products are actually used in hospitals and clinics. So they make genuine products. Imagine my surprise when I saw this gel at Walmart. But this is a hydrogel with actual silver in it. Very different from Silvex and in a good way. It isn't harmful, but this? This actually helps with wound healing unlike Silvex. Medline Silvasorb is great stuff that I like to use for burns specifically. For anything deeper with a partial deep thickness this will heal it right up in combination with their Maxorb II Ag that Medline offers. Such a great combination of medical products I'm glad they offer at Walmart. Wish Walmart sold more Medline Products I'd come here more often.
This product is a miracle. It works perfectly to fight infection in burns and cuts. Small amount goes a long way. It is a gel that completely absorbs into the skin so there's no greasy film. It's completely odorless and colorless. Used it on a cut I had on my foot that was starting to get infected. 4 days of using this product and it was healed.
I used this for a very large burn that was rubbed raw and hasn't healed in 1 week. It instantly soothed the pain and stayed in place wonderfully while I bandaged it. I'm hoping this helps it with the healing process, and if I remember, I will update this review with how the healing process goes. Thank you!
As an RN, I've used quite a few products over the years for wounds. This one stands out as one of the best ones. It provides an excellent barrier against germs and bacteria. I knew I was purchasing a great product when I saw that it was a Medline product.
I had a 2nd degree burn which was very painfull , did not want to go the the dr. This helped so much with the healing process. It works much better than what I was using .
this product requires consistent application under strict attention to the directions, but given that...success! buy it!
This silvasorb seems ok, I say ok because I did not yet notice severe stinging from it but I only used once so far and so far have not seen any improvment on leg sore or irritated skin. Will use more and see if any improvement occurs. This tiny tube half oz is only enough for one application to my leg sore which is about 4 inches wide. This seems overpriced. I did notice the sore started stinging after a few hours if wrapping with this. The other silver gel I tried did not sting at all and was comfortable for hours. Will see how this works out after 24 hours%26 update if possible.
Super gelatinous and thick ointment nothing like other silver gel or gel at that that I have ever used and very hard to apply it also creates a film that starts balling up and peeling off wound and skin immediately that the brand name gel does not, and seems to be most mostly filler product instead of active ingredients. Will never buy again.
