Medline, Sureprep No Sting Skin Protectant Spray 28 mL Bottle, Foam: Spray

My husband has a retracted stoma (Ileostomy) which puts the entire skin area at risk as the output is beneath the skin level ( if it were a belly button, it would be an inny" ) I use this spray to double crust the area around the stoma on the edge of the skin ( with Hollister Stoma powder) . It works beautifully. My husband said there is ZERO, (none) (no) pain. I am able to spray the area, give a light "puff" of the powder.. And redo the spray, an another super light puff and within a few seconds, it is dry and I am ready to apply his barrier device. The device has stayed on, ( no issues with the wax ring not adhering, or the adhesive on the device not holding). We now change his device every 3 days, (because of the retraction) and the double crusting took care of skin issues where he was bleeding and having skin issues. Yes, a real 5-star product for a very serious issue. It works excellent and evenly covers the powder so crusting is complete solid and stays in place where it can do what it needs to do, protect the skin around the stoma.

This prep really makes my urine pouch that I put over my urine stoma stick very well without leaks. Stoma powder then spray this on top of powder let dry for 30 seconds then stick on the pouch.

This (particularly for ostomies) is an amazing product. The only con is the price, it is a bit expensive (but for our situation, well worth the cost).

this barrier was horrible. not only did it burn like crazy but it leaked EVERYWHERE and madey adhesive allergy 100 times worse. will never buy this again and will warn my friends and family against it

This works great but 2nd time I got a bottle that leaks BADLY when you spray it. The bottle is small and a lot leaks out big waste. Just buy the 3M pads work just as good if not better and no drippy waste👍
