I found this antacid syrup very effective for quick relief from heartburn and indigestion, we have been using this Equate Antacid liquid for many years and still this is the first thing we reach as soon as we feel the heartburn. It works fast by neutralizing stomach acid, so the discomfort goes away within minutes. The liquid form is smooth and easy to take and swallow and the taste is quite pleasant compared to tablets. It’s a reliable option to keep on hand for occasional stomach upset. I do recommend it!

sometimes I get acid reflux and it is a real nightmare to deal with. on those times when I am a naughty boy and not eating the healthy things I should, my acid reflux flares up and Equate always comes to the rescue with the quality products for fraction the price of the name brands. Be advised though, this product can also give you diarrhea if you use too much of it so, just follow the instructions and it will bring you relief from the heartburn.

This stuff works if you have constant heartburn; take in advance. If you have gerd this is perfect. it works but it may be tough on your digestive; possibly cause a short diarrhea. But the relief it gives definitely save waking up with burning heartburn, again I take a small amount, depending on how much I eat, before I go to sleep. My heartburn use to wake me up with severe burning but not any longer and I don't have to watch what I eat.

Use as directed and it works really well no problem with it. Just follow the instructions there the taste is different but it does. The job is required.

A lower price point than named brands product. This works just as good or better than some of the higher priced brands. The relief is very quick and helps after some spicy or acidic foods.

Equate over the counter Max strength settled my stomach acid almost immediately. Easy to swallow because of its taste, but please follow directions. The liquid seemed to coat my throat to stomach and relieve the heartburn and acid reflux.

I have used this product for years. i have acid reflux and can't lay down unless I take 3 -4 swallows of this, followed by an RX acid reflux pill to keep the acid at bay all night. I like this product because it works immediately - day or night. Pills take a while to kick in.

I like the liquid better than the pills. It coats my throat going down which instantly makes the acid burn feel better. I don’t think you always need to have these stronger heartburn/antacid medications, sometimes this is plenty. Why over medicate if it’s not necessary.

this is the most poorly secured medicine I have ever received. there was no sealed peel off and it has to be shook before use, so shook and the lid came off and the stuff went everywhere AND IT DOESNT COME OFF of the surface it gets on. it got on my husband's work shirt and the shirt is no longer wearable and they are expensive. I have tried everything the stain won't come out. it's kinda scary that something that stains like this is supposed to be safe for us to take...it also stained my stainless steel sink, tile floor and everything else it touched in my kitchen.
