Very easy to build, would be a great gift to a pokemon or lego lover

My grandson (8 years old) is obsessed with Pokemon. He went wild over this kit. He said it was challenging to build but not overwhelming. He loved it and has the characters he built on display in his room. I would recommend it to anyone who loves Pokemon and is old enough to put it together.

Perfect gift for Gen 1 Pokémon lovers!

My 7 year old was able to build the characters except charizard's wings, and the base/rock/stand was too difficult to build and falls apart easily. I had to build the base for him and help put the characters on. There was also no clear stick for the charizard to be placed (to make him “fly”). Emailing the company about that piece. I expected the whole display to be a bit bigger but I didn't look at the dimensions before I purchased so that's my mistake.

Suitable for children 8 and older that have wonderful attention spans and work independently.

This is a cute set but difficult to build for little kids. Our child git very frustrated because the blocks do not fit together as well as legos. Our family decided Mega blocks are not worth the hassle and frustration for our children. I will not purchase any more Mega blocks items...
