Meguiar's M85 Mirror Glaze Diamond Cut Compound 2.0, M8532, 32 oz, 1 Bottle

I used Meguiar's M85 for heavy paint correction, and it cuts fast and removes defects much better than lighter compounds. It worked well on deeper scratches, oxidation, sanding marks, and rough spots that needed more aggressive correction. I liked how quickly it leveled out imperfections, especially on older paint and heavier damage where lighter compounds would take much longer. The compound spreads well and gives enough working time before drying out, which helps when using a buffer. It worked especially well after wet sanding and helped smooth out orange peel and deeper imperfections. Even though it's a heavy-cut compound, it still finished better than I expected before moving on to polishing. A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last through multiple projects. One thing to keep in mind is that this is an aggressive compound, so it usually needs a follow-up polish afterward to bring back full gloss and remove haze. Overall, this is a strong professional-level cutting compound that works very well for major paint correction and heavy restoration work.

you have to know what you're doing when you work with this product or you will hurt your paint more than help it but if you know what you're doing and have the right tools this product really makes the car shine so much more and when you put wax on after that's great

This is a great compound when used with cutting pad in polishing out a paint job after sanding from 800, then 1500, 2000 and finally 3000.

I have been using this for years. The advantage is while your using it the grit disappears gradually and tends to not rip the paint off the vehicle. With anything it takes practice. Especially not to leave swirl marks, but no worry Mequiars makes Swirl Remover too.

i use this as a aggressive compound cut meguire's put a scale on the front on bottle as a quick guide. use very little on a buffer
